Msian success and the law of attraction

With 54th Merdeka Celebrations around the corner and 48th Malaysia Day soon to follow how do we look at our place in this nation? Despite the voices of discontent do I see this as a great nation and do I appreciate my place in this nation? Consider my story. I was born in West Malaysia but living in East Malaysia since the age of 9. A Malaysian of Indian descent and yet I have not lived in that community for 40 years. Due to family circumstances I walked 6 miles to attend school every day because I couldnt afford the bus fare. I graduated with a honours law degree from the University of London but I have never attended one day of classes at law school or university. Other than being chosen to attend an e-Commerce seminar in Bangkok at my own cost and expense I have never been selected for anything or given any aid in any form by the Government. When I was given this opportunity to write a weekly column for Borneo Post I didnt expect to do it for more than 6 months. This National Day I would clocked in 5 years and my weekly article appears in Sabah, Sarawak and most recently in Forbes magazine, the billionaires and millionaires worldwide magazine. John F Kennedy the exPresident of USA once said And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country. How true. The Americans and British who have free health care and unemployment benefits are today living beyond their means on a mountain of debt and creating debts that cannot be paid in this generation or the next. Instead, like the mainland Chinese the majority of us Malaysians have never asked what Malaysia can do for us but only what we have done for this country. By the sweat on our brow and the work of our hands we have worked hard to live day by day and year by year without unemployment benefits (no work, no eat) and have depended on God for our health and well being. That in itself makes us and Malaysia a greater nation than USA or the UK at this point in time. If we understood this truth we could see above the negativity and pessimism that clouds our national atmosphere in this present time. We would see ourselves despite our differing political views, our religion our race that we are Malaysians first and 1Malaysians. And so let this Hari Raya and Merdeka holidays be a time for Malaysians to look to greater times in a troubled world. In his weekly homily by Reverend Cosmas Lee of St. Simon Chapel in Kota Kinabalu he attributed the street riots in England to the failure of the British to acknowledge God or to honour him. We Malaysians should be humbled and grateful that our founding fathers have not followed this free thinkers path. God is with us as we have duly acknowledged his presence for 40 years now (a significant biblical & religious number) since 31st August 1970 in the 5 Principles of Nationhood the first of which is Belief in God or Kepercayaan Kepada Tuhan. Remember the thousands of school kids in our nation saying these words year after year not realising that in doing so we have maintained our links with the Almighty. THE LAW OF ATTRACTION So instead of talking about man made law this week I am going to write on a metaphysical law known as the law of attraction to spur my fellow Malaysians to greater heights. The Law states: I attract to myself, whatever I give my focus, attention, or energy to; whether wanted or unwanted. If you think about being broke, poor, lonely and believe your thoughts guess what? That is exactly what youll be. This Law applies to your life and every other persons life on the planet. Like all laws, it is impartial and impersonal, which means it works when you want it to and when you dont want it to. Everything comes to us through the most elemental law of physics - Like Attracts Like! Like Attracts Like is nothing more than the Law of Attraction. No one lives beyond this Law. It is an unquestionable law of the universe. Imagine starting to believe in yourself and your infinite possibilities especially with your belief in God. Imagine believing you deserve everything you want out of life. Imagine getting everything you want out of life. Once you apply the Law of Attraction everything is possible. When you want to attract your dreams into your present day life you can only do it if you have a clear intention of what it is that you really want. This object or goal must be something that you crave and want with all of your heart and soul. You must be able to focus clearly on your life purpose and be able to picture it with clarity and detail in your mind. Now this does not mean that you will never get upset, and there are still going to be occasions when you have to do something that really does not make you very happy. However you will learn to control your negative emotions and stop dwelling on the negatives. You will become able to keep your focus on your one true life vision and keep working toward bringing it into your present day reality. This might take some practice, but you will succeed at identifying and manifesting your life purpose. Family and friends might turn negative and try to dissuade you from your goal. You might hear that you are being foolish and silly. Never let these negative words and people inf luence you into abandoning your quest for your life purpose. God wants to help you and will provide you with the strength and wisdom you must have to succeed. You can do it, because you are a positive part of God. PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS Now of course what I say is only words unless I translate it into action. Two years ago I formed an online think tank with 12 other graduates known as SPACE (Sabah Problems Action Centre). Our target was to find ways to encourage financial prosperity in Borneo through ecommerce, whether with or without government help. We have now secured financial aid in the form of loans for would be entrepreneurs in Malaysia in e-commerce projects. You dont have to be a computer scientist or ICT qualified to do e-commerce. You could be a housewife, a student, unemployed or even holding a full time job to do e-commerce. You would need to have a desktop computer or better still a laptop and a mobilephone number together with an email address. The e-commerce project is available and you will receive free training to undertake it. The amount of loan a qualified person is entitled to is a minimum amount of RM2,000.00 and a maximum of RM200,000.00. The minimum repayment is two years. The maximum repayment period is 19 years or until 58 years whichever occurs earlier. Your monthly repayment could be as low as RM50.00 the cost of one full fill up of your petrol tank at the pump station. Government servants are entitled to apply for this facility. Applicants must be Malaysian citizens or permanent residents. However since this loan is to undertake e-commerce you could repay your loan before its tenure because of the profits you are earning. If you are interested send me details of your name, IC or passport no., mobile phone and address to marceljude@yahoo.com or sms 0128030778. Besides this e-commerce project, SPACE is also launching an online newspaper at borneobest.com on 1st September 2011. It will feature news and money making opportunities in Borneo. More news on this soon. Selamat Hari Raya and Hari Merdeka to all Malaysians. For more news go to my website @ borneobest.com and @ lexborneo.com.
