ALL-RELIGION-ONE

All praise be to Allah, the Creator of everything that exist, the Al-Knower, the Al-Wise. We praise Him and we glorify Him as He is ought to be praised and glorified. We send His Peace and Blessings on all of His noble Messengers, especially on the last of them all, Muhammad. The modern secular philosophy of all-religion-one is quite IN these days. Whether one is a Jew, a Christian, a Hindu or a Muslim, it is all the same. They say, all religions are sent from the Lord of the worlds. Some call Him Allah, some God, some Bhagwan and some with other names. Name does not matter and so does the version of religion one follows. Why? Because no religion teaches man to kill people, to seize peoples wealth, to rob, to lie and other bad things but only teaches good things such as speaking good, being good to kith and kin, giving people their rights, and manufacturing a system through which all the good things can remain intact. I am not religious, I am spiritual is the common phrase of these days. Religion is bad, you know, spirituality is good. When the essence of any religion is lost, knowledge becomes mere information and the true wisdom is lost. This is what happened with Islam as well. Today, our modern liberal scholars are the biggest reason for this ideology to be able to float amongst general public. They present such a liberal view of Islam which is OK with all other religions side by side. Well, that is not the truth first of all. Allah says in Al-Quran:
They intend to put out the Light of Allah (i.e. the religion of Islam, this Quran, and Prophet Muhammad SAW) with their mouths. But Allah will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate (it). He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islamic Monotheism) TO MAKE IT VICTORIOUS over ALL (other) RELIGIONS even though the Mushrikun hate (it). [Surah As-Saff 61: Ayah 8-9]

Islam has come as the FINAL VERSION of all religions. No other religion is accepted side by side with it even though the kuffar hate it. And yes, they do hate it. Allah states in the Quran very clear:
"... This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have APPROVED for you ISLAM as DEEN...." [Surah Al-Maida 5: Ayah 03]

The modern liberal scholars of Islam has also backed up the idea of all-religions-one with an Ayah of Quran by not following the rules of Tafsir-ul-Quran, and the Ayah is quite misinterpreted just because of our religious ignorance. Ayah 69 of Surah Al-Maida no. 5 [5:69] and Ayah 62 of Surah Al-Baqarah no. 2 [2:62] are quoted. These Ayah are same accept for an additional sentence in the later. It is as follows:
Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. [Surah Al-Baqarah 2: Ayah 62]

Anyone who does not know the fundamentals of how do we interpret an Ayah will easily be convinced with its interpretation as, the acceptance of any faith (religion) with Allah and receiving their reward on the Day of

Judgment for their good deeds. Surprisingly, we do not disagree! What? We do not disagree with this interpretation? Then why did we write an explanation? Well, we do agree but with one addition point. The additional point is that Allah has sent down His noble Messengers (peace be upon them all) in different times for different nations. As long as a Messenger is present amongst his people and they believe in Allah, the Day of Judgment, the message that has been brought by the Messenger to them and the people follow Allahs commands, they would be awarded for that, as mentioned in the Ayah. But as soon as the next Messenger comes, the teachings of the older Messenger become obsolete and people have to follow the new commands now. However, the basic fundamental commands remained the same in all religions (Allah is one in all aspects [worship, existence and attributes], the Day of Judgment and the Messenger being the Prophet of Allah). So after the new message, the people following the older version would not be accepted. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) has mentioned it very clearly as follows:
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad, he who amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me, but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent and dies in this state (of disbelief), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire. [Sahih Muslim Book 1: Hadith 284]

In the explanation of Ayah 2:62, Ibn-e-Kathir quotes in Tafsir Ibn-e-Kathir as follows:

Allah says in the Quran:

And whoever seeks religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers [Surah Ale-Imran 3: Ayah 85]

This statement by Ibn `Abbas indicates that Allah does not accept any deed or work from anyone, unless it conforms to the Law of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) that is, after Allah sent Muhammad. Before that, every person who followed the guidance of his own Prophet was on the correct path, following the correct guidance and was saved. When Allah sent Muhammad as the Last and Final Prophet and Messenger to all of the Children of Adam, mankind was required to believe in him, obey him and refrain from what he prohibited them; those who do this are true believers. The Ummah of Muhammad was called `Mu'minin' (believers), because of the depth of their faith and certainty, and because they believe in all of the previous Prophets and matters of the Unseen. Finally Syed Maulana Abu al-aala Maududi writes in Tafhim-ul-Quran about 2:62 as follows: (Translated from Urdu)

Here the objective is to discredit the Jewish belief about them that they being the chosen people of the
Lord are the only ones who would succeed on the Day of Judgment. The Jews have always believed that Allah has a special relationship with them that no one else (other religions/nations) have with Him, no matter how deviated their (Jews) believes and deeds are. They believed that other nations have come into existence only to be burnt as fuel in Hell Fire. In this Ayah, it is to specify very clearly that the real

thing with Allah is (1) believing in Him and (2) good deeds that He has ordained and not their evil groupings. Whoever will come with these two things will have his reward with Him.

We pray to Allah All-Knower to guide us to the straight path and help us understand the guidance that we have been bestowed with (Quran). May Allah make us not amongst the Daalleen (those who became un-guided and went astray) and make us amongst anamta alayhim (on whom he has bestowed His Grace). May we strive for knowledge, understand it, implement it and spread as much as we can, expecting the reward from Allah SWT and not to show off amongst people of our knowledge and wisdom.
