Able Are you able to get it done" for our Father?

Many of you have a destiny to help God accomplish His plan. We arc going to take a look at some of the signs of the end times in this lecture. But first, I want you to know why you should he able. Let's begin our study in Luke. Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, "Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through Thy name said unto them, 18 I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Satan will be kicked out of heaven by Michael (Rev. 12:7-9). Arc you ready and able for this to happen? Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Jesus gave us power over all of our enemies, including Satan. Don't ever forget the power is in His name. This is the reason you are able to "get it done". Let's continue our study in the great Book of Matthew. Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom belongs to those who are persecuted for what is right. God's Word is right. Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Jesus is the Living Word. Stick with Jesus and the Word, even when others reproach you for doing so. Matthew 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. If you think you have it rough, take a look at what they did to Jeremiah for speaking the truth. Take a look at what they did to Jesus for speaking the truth. Don't ever be a "poor me baby", when Jesus has given you the power and authority to stand up and act like a Christian, even in the face of persecution. Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Salt that has lost its' savour isn't able to flavor anything. It is good for nothing. You are supposed to be salty. You are supposed to be able to stand up for Christ. Don't give up your place in the kingdom by losing your savour, when the spurious messiah comes. You have been blessed with power over him, in the name of Jesus. Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. With God's truth in you, and the Holy Spirit in you, you are a light to the world. A light that shines through the darkness and deception with truth. People are hungry for answers and clarity. You have those answers. Share the truth with God's children who are lost in this world of darkness. Let your light shine. This applies to the present time, but especially the time when you are delivered up before the synagogue of Satan. That is when you had better be able. That is when you had better not lose your savour. I know you won't. Why? You are able! Matthew 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

A light under a bushel is the same as no light at all. You are a blessing to others as the I Ioly Spirit and truth shine forth from you. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Which is in heaven. Your good works shouldn't be to glorify yourself. Why? We are servants. Without God, we are nothing. Let your works glorify Father, because all good gifts are from Him. To be able is to take the Word of God and let it be the seal in your mind. Relish it. Don't lose it. It is valuable, because it gives you the authority to help our brethren who are lost in confusion. Turn to Chapter 8. Matthew 8:28 And when He was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. The devils were so fierce that no man was able to pass that way. Why? They didn't have Christ with them. If you leave Christ out of your life, you will be just as helpless. If there had been one Christian there, after the power over our enemies was given, there would have been someone who was able to pass that way. You would have been able to pass, because you know you have the power to order all evil behind you, in the name of Jesus Christ. Matthew 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of God? art Thou come hither to torment us before the time?" Note this wasn't the two possessed men speaking. These were the two devils speaking. The devils knew that Jesus had power over them. They know you have power over them, if you exercise the authority Christ gave to you. If you aren't able to exercise that authority, demons will eat your lunch. Matthew 8:30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. Swine are the lowest carnal flesh in the world. Matthew 8:31 So the devils besought Him, saying, "If Thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine." Again, the devils knew Christ had the authority to cast them out. They know you have the authority, as well. Matthew 8:32 And He said unto them, "Go." And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters. Analyze this verse. What does it say to you? It should let you know devils can't even overpower the thinking of a lowly hog that refuses to be possessed. The hogs preferred to drown in. the- sea over being possessed by a devil. Are you going to allow Satan and his to overpower your thinking? Of course not. You have power over them, and you are able to utilize that power. Let's continue our study with some fellows who thought they were going to cast out an evil spirit without the authority of Jesus Christ in the Book of Acts. They weren't able. Acts 19: 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: Absorb this verse. Was it Paul who performed miracles? No. It was God Who performed the miracles through Paul. This is where you can get into trouble. Don't ever take credit for the miracles God performs. Acts 19: 12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, "We adjure you by Jesus Whom Paul preacheth."

What we have here are some unprepared Kenites. Were they preaching Jesus? No! They weren't able to cast out demons, because they didn't have Christ with them. They claimed to be exorcists, but they were unbelievers. Acts 19: 14 And there were seven sons of one See va, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?" The evil spirit knew that Jesus and Paul, in the name of Jesus, had the power to cast him out, but he knew these seven sons of Sceva were as nothing. And without Jesus Christ in you, the demons know you are nothing. Acts 19: 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. Don't ever try to overcome Satan, or his evil spirits, without Jesus Christ with you. You will end up as the sons of Sceva. As we began this lesson, Jesus told us that Satan was going to be kicked out of heaven. He's going to be here on earth. That frightens many people. Does that frighten you? It shouldn't, if you believe Jesus gave you power over him. In fact, this is the time when it becomes critical for you to be able. Turn to Luke 21. Luke 21.25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Have you seen any signs lately? Waves roaring should bring a major tsunami and hurricanes to mind. What about earthquakes, tornados in November, and terrorism around the world? The nations are distressed. Wake up! Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Only after heaven is shaken and Satan cast out will Christ return. Many will be deceived. But you won't. Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." 29 And He spake to them a parable; "Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; One doesn't plant a fig seed. You set out a shoot that already has leaves on it. Luke 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. That shoot was set forth in 1948, when the nation of Israel was reestablished (Jeremiah 24). The harvest nears. Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. We aren't given the moment, but we are given the generation that all these things shall come to pass. It is this generation. Are you able? Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but My words shall not pass away. This, the second, heaven and earth age will pass away, but the Word of God never changes. That is why studying God's Word is never a waste of your time.

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. These things are going to happen. Don't let the cares of this world cause .these events to slip up on you. Luke 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Make certain you will be able to stand before Jesus Christ by standing for Jesus, when the antichrist appears. Unfortunately, many won't be worthy. They are expecting to flyaway. God doesn't need flyaway artists. He needs people who are able to stand. You, beloved, are able!
