CONQUER You must have God's help to conquer.

If you cut yourself off from Father, you won't be victorious. God has already conquered the world. God has already conquered Satan. Satan is only permitted to mess with you, if you allow him to mess with you. In the name of Jesus Christ, you have the power over all of your enemies including Satan. Lets begin our study in Isaiah. Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, Thou art my God; I will exalt Thee, I will praise Thy name; for Thou hast done wonderful things; Thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. Have you utilized God's counsel? You can't buy better counsel. Gods counsel is His Word. Isaiah 25:2 For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a de-fenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.(3) Therefore shall the strong people glorify Thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear Thee. The ruthless and ungodly people will fear God. Isaiah 25:4 For Thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. God is our wall. Father has already conquered the world, and He is our protection. What should we fear? Isaiah 25:5 Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low. "Branch" in this verse should be translated "triumphal song. They will have nothing to sing about as they are defeated. They will realize they were wrong. Isaiah 25:6 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrowm of wines on the lees well refined. The mountain in this verse is Zion. We partake of this feast every Passover. We partake of the wine on the lees, which is the best there is ,with Communion. Isaiah 25:7 And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. The pillows that cover the arms and prevent His children from reaching out to God's saving arms will be destroyed. Father will tear the coverings from their arms and let the souls go that the raprurists hunt to make them fly(Ezekiel 13:20). Only through divine influence is the victory made possible. Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His People shall He take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.(9) And it shall be said in that day ,"Lo,this is the LORD; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." Are you going to wait on the true Messiah, or are you going to fly away into Satan's camp? Isaiah25:10 For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under Him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill. The people of Moab were adamic. They would not worship God. In fact, they led some of Israel into idolatry. Isaiah 25:11 And He shall spread forth His hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and He shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.(12)And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall He bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust. The enemy doesn't have a chance. God already has the victory. He has already conquered the world. Do you think it is possible for us to share in this power and strength today? Lets turn to the Gospel of John. John 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. A woman forgets the labor pains of birth, when she holds her child for the first time. We will forget the pains of this current time, when we experience the joy of the return of Messiah and that new city. John 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. Christ is telling the disciples that He will be crucified. Dont ever allow anyone to steal your joy in knowing that He will return. John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask Me nothing.Verily, verily,I say unto you,Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it you. This verse does not mean that you can ask for a new car to show off, and He will give it to you. This verse does mean that what ever you need to further God's work on earth is yours for the asking. If you do the work, God will provide the bricks. Knowledge and wisdom in His Word also fall into this category. Ask!

John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in My name:ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. (25) These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. Father wants you to be happy. Why? You're His child. Your Father loves you very much. John 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in My name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: (27) For the Father Himself loveth you, because ye have loved Me, and have believed that I came out from God. Belief in Messiah puts you in that close of a relationship with the Conquerer.Don't forget the requirement. John 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world:again,I leave the world, and go to the Father.(29) His disciples said unto Him,"Lo,now speakest Thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.(30)Now are we sure that Thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask Thee: by this we believe that Thou camest forth from God." They believed, but they would also abandon Him. John 16:31 Jesus answered them,:Do ye now believe?(32) Behold, the hour cometh, yea,is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own,and shall leave Me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. Will you also leave Him,when the antichrist appears on the scene offering wealth and prosperity to all that will worship him? John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:but be of good cheer;I have overcome the world. Jesus told us these things so we can have peace of mind. There is nothing for us to worry about. He has conquered the world, and He has given you power over all of your enemies(Luke 10:18-19),I don't understand why people allow the enemy, that is Satan,to beat them up day in and day out when Christ gave believers power over him.I am certain He is dissapointed in those that don;t overcome Satan. In fact, there are rewards for those that do. Let's turn to Revelation. Revelation 2:7 He that hath ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.' Notice the condition. This promise is for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. This promise is for those that overcome, that is to say conquer Satan.Jesus is addressing the church of Ephesus in this verse. What did He have to say to the church of Smryna? Revelation 2:11 He that hath ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.' Why?The second death has no power over the elect(Revelation 20:6).The elect take part in the first resurrection. What about the church of Pergamos? Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear,let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth save he that receiveth it.' Christ won't do it for you.He expects you to overcome.Manna is the food of the angels. The Cheif Shepherd will feed you truth. The stone in this verse is for counting.I hope you know how to count the number of the beast. What about the church of Thyatira? Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: There is work to be done, beloved.Utilize the power Christ gave you and overcome.Next,we have the church of Sardis. Revelation 3:15 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white reiment;and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels. Isn't it awesome? That is something we should all work towards and strive for ,but you must overcome to claim the promise.Next comes the church of Philadelphia. Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the Temple of My God,and he shall go no more out:and I will write upon him the name of My God,and the name of the city of My God,which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him MY new name. Aren't these fantastic promises?Claim them! There is one church left. What about the church of Laodiceans? Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcome, and am set down with My Father in His throne.

God loves overcomers.God loves conquerers.Be strong in your faith.Don't waiver.Christ has already conquered the world. All you have to do is follow. In conclusion, let's turn to the Book of Romans. Romans 8:36 As it is written,"For Thy sake we are killed all the day long;we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."(37) Nay,in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. With the strength and power that comes from God's divine influence on us through His Word and the Holy Spirit we will conquer the enemy and the world. Romans 8:38 For I am persecuted, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,(39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God,which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Not even Satan himself is able to seperate us from the love of God.Be a conquerer for yourself, your people, and for your Father. He has shown us how. In His Service, Arnold Murray.
