Application for Joining a Community Garden

Community gardens are an excellent way to learn about the where your food comes from, meet new
people, and become active in your community. UGROW is part of The Regional Environmental Council
(REC) Food Justice Program, which is working to build a local food system in the city of Worcester and
surrounding areas. UGROWs vision is to empower local communities to transform neighborhood green
spaces into community gardens. The UGROW network supports over 45 gardens through encouraging
organic practices to grow healthy food, keep our neighborhoods clean and beautiful and, strengthening
community spirit.
