11-43564 (LARCENY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE) Deputies from Scio Twp are investigating the theft of personal property taken from a parked car in the 3000 block of Ramsgate Dr. Police were called on 9/8/2011; investigators are attempting to determine when the theft occurred. The victim told deputies prescription medication, cash, and a laptop computer were taken from their unlocked vehicle. No suspect information was available. The case remains under investigation.

11-43596 (HOME INVASION) Deputies were called to the 3000 block of Montrose St, Ypsilanti Twp, to investigate the complaint of a residential burglary. Police were called on 9/8/2011, the time of the incident in unknown. The victim told investigators someone entered their home while they were away and stole multiple items. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation. Stolen Property: 1 Samsung DVD player Miscellaneous food items

11-43598 (PERSONAL INJURY TRAFFIC CRASH) On 9/8/201, at approximately 3:00PM, deputies were dispatched to the area of Austin Rd and Grossman Rd, Manchester Twp, to investigate a serious injury traffic crash. A 26-year old Manchester Twp resident is in critical condition at the University of Michigan Hospital. The injured driver passed a vehicle and was unaware there was oncoming traffic; the driver left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Consumers Energy cut power to the impacted utility pole before extrication. No other vehicles were involved. No other injuries were reported; the driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. It is unknown if alcohol or speed were factors causing the crash. No further details were available at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation.
