Updates to the Army Family Covenant.

CYSS Initiative All Army Families Support Services: Free CYSS registration and re-registration fees Free hourly care for FRG meetings Free hourly care during mandatory GWOT activities (e.g., deployment and reunion briefings) Free hourly group care for all attendees of a memorial service for a Fallen Soldier CYSS Initiative Mission Level 1 Definition: Families of Deployed Military and DoD Civilians with certified deployment orders. Eligibility Period: Begins 30 days before deployment and ends 90 days after return. Support Services: 16 hours free hourly respite care per child per month. Hourly fee reduction to $2.oo per child per hour for any hourly care beyond the free respite care hours 20% fee reduction for regularly scheduled full and part day care. $300 in SKIES classes per child/youth during deployment period $100 in Sports benefit per child/youth during deployment period CYSS Initiative Mission Level 2 Definition: Families of Military and DoD Civilians serving under the following orders: - Temporary Change of Station (TCS) - Permanent Change of Station (PCS) unaccompanied tour; and - Temporary Duty (TDY) status for 90 to 179 days. Eligibility Period: For the duration of their TCS, PCS (unaccompanied) or TDY orders. Support Services: 16 hours free hourly respite care per child per month during eligible period. Hourly fee reduction to $2.00 per child per hour for any hourly care beyond the free respite care hours. $150 in SKIES classes per child/youth during deployment period. $50 in Sports benefit per child/youth during deployment period. CYSS Initiative Mission Level 3 Definition: Families of Military and DoD Civilians serving in the Rear Detachment Cadre in support of the immediate Families of deployed Soldiers. Eligibility Period: Soldiers identified on the Rear Detachment Personnel Availability Report for the duration of this status. Support Services: 5 hours free hourly respite care per child per month during eligible period. Hourly fee reduction to $2.00 per child per hour for any hourly care beyond the free respite care hours. $ 150 in SKIES classes per child/youth during deployment period. $50 in Sports benefit per child/youth during deployment period.

CYSS Initiative Wounded Warriors Definition: Army Wounded Warriors (AW2) and Warriors in Transition (WT). Eligibility Period: Soldiers identified by the WT Unit Commander for the duration of this status. Support Services (renewable on a fiscal year basis): 16 hours free hourly respite care per child per month during eligible period. Hourly fee reduction to $2.00 per child per hour for any hourly care beyond the free respite care hours. Unlimited free hourly care for medical appointments. Category 1 fees for regularly scheduled full and part day care. $300 in SKIES classes per child/youth during deployment period. $100 in Sports benefit per child/youth during deployment period. CYSS Initiative Fallen Warriors Definition: Immediate families of Fallen Warriors. Eligibility Period: Begins from date of notification to 28days after Interment 56 hours free child care (16 hrs. respite + 40 hrs. bereavement) Continued Eligibility Period: Post Bereavement Indefinite Support Services (renewable on a fiscal year basis): 16 hours free hourly respite care per child per month Hourly fee reduction to $2.00 per child per hour for any hourly care beyond the free respite care hours. Category 1 fees for regularly scheduled full and part day care. $300 in SKIES classes per child/youth during deployment period. $100 in Sports benefit per child/youth during deployment period

Clarkmoor Hourly Care Center, Cascade School Age Center and Clarkmoor Child Development Center are all open on Saturdays from 0900-1700. Children infant thru 5th grade will be served. All Saturday reservations will be accepted and no patron with a current CYSS registration will be turned away.
