there in your heart. Listen to that still small voice. Most people would find it hard to see God, to believe Hes there, because they forget to be a child- to look at beauty in the simplest of things, to look with wonder and amazement in the colors of life. You want a tangible proof of God? Dont look too far, my friend. Look inside of you. The mere fact that youre there, youre still there, running the race, enduring it, youre still there seeking God, even after stumbling, after falling, after that defeat, after that season of dryness, He is there He is that gentle voice in the morning that welcomes you into the day. That gentle voice affirms you that you are loved, cared for, forgiven and that you did a pretty good job today. He is that gentle voice in the hush of the night that rocks you to sleep. He is the gentle voice that invites you to rest, as Daddy watches over the night, until the sun shines brightly again into another day. Dont look too faryour heart is His home. Read 1Kings19:11-13

Pastors Corner
By April Jade Bonoan, Youth Pastor

In our pursuit of God, and in Gods pursuit of us, we sometimes expect Him to come in a certain manner- through the recovery of sight for the blind, His love never fails. or the healing of cancer-stricken child, rain during months of drought or a P1M check from out of nowhere. We stereotype God to come in a supernatural, out-of-this-world, majestic or thunder-bolting way. Someone I know learned that God was not in the wind, not in the fire, nor in the earthquake. Rather God was in that gentle whisper. There are no small or big miracles, my friend. Every miracle is Gods way of saying that Hes here, Hes working. Dont go looking for God in the wrong places. Look inside of you. Hes right

Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted (NLT). JAMC-CDO on her first year reflects the mighty works of His hand a testimony that indeed, the Lord himself is the builder of the house, the One Great Shepherd, the One Faithful and Sovereign God. From nothing to something, from weaknesses to strengths, from bitterness to blessedness, from doubt to faith, from false impressions to truths, JAMC-CDO stood the tests on her first year

Jamc-CdeO starts a new beginning

August 7, 2011 was more than just the usual Sunday. A total of 160 called souls gathered in Mandana Function Hall of VIP Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City at around two in the afternoon to witness the celebration of JAMC-CDOs first year anniversary! The spirit of rejoicing overwhelmed the hearts of many a JAMC and non-JAMC members alike as the Lords presence was made more manifest during the celebration. During the big event, the number of people surpassed more than the target of 115 totaling to 160. Looking through JAMC CDOs Hisstory, the Lord moving through the heart of Ate Jade, as she is fondly called at CDO (teacher Jade in ZC), worked miracles and started His church with seven other first generation disciplers. From the seven came thirty and to date, there had been more than two hundred souls who received the gospel through JAMC-CDO in various universities including Mindanao University for Science and Technology (MUST), Liceo de Cagayan, and even MSU-IIT (with one soul who committed to follow the Lord on the day of the anniversary). Living out the goal of winning souls in various colleges and universities, for the months of July and August, a total of 17 souls committed to follow the Lord in three separate commitment sessions conducted last July 10, August 7 and 16. JAMC-CDO is not only winning souls in the universities and colleges but winning JAMC

families, as well. At present, three mothers of JAMC members are faithfully attending Sunday services, aunts and uncles and even siblings of JAMC members are also drawn towards the Lord as JAMC members live the testimony of the Lord in their respective Jerusalems. Soul-winning activities are also actively pushed forward as the campus service team (CST) headed by JAMC-ZCs D10 discipler Rose Virtudes are on the move with God in the campuses.

A Life That Never Was

By Rhea Angela Arancon

Dearest Kelly I loved you. You were my dear friend. You were one of the very few people I hold so precious in my life. We used to laugh together over almost all crazy stuffs. We shared food together, chitchat and hang-out during meal times. We shared and kept secrets. Together we learned at school and exposed our dreams on each other. Those days, our days, I valued so much. But then those beautiful days became once upon a time. Suddenly, you changed! I heard you got involved with the nearby Jesus church thingy one Friday. Oh! I remember how I laughed hard at you and mocked you when I asked. After then, I was so shocked that Monday morning I heard you (first time!) say no to cheating- which we used to enjoy fully well! My jaw almost dropped when that late afternoon I heard you say no to the boys we used to feast pleasure with! You were the one you brought me to the gang and do drugs; but so suddenly you turned your back to them! What happened to you that you so suddenly said no to all the pleasurable things you once easily said yes to? My friend, though you have changed, I cannot question that you have changed for the better. I saw a spark in your eyes which I want be in mine as well. I have never seen you so content and satisfied in your days, that state I have longed for since before. I noticed peace emanating from you, (I dared to seek that all my days!). I wanted the change in you to happen in me as well! I waited on you. But you never told me about what happened to you. They said, now you talk about the Jesus stuff, but why didnt you tell me even

You Stir The Fire in Me

By John Vincent Raopa You constantly called out to me But I chose not to hear You took my hand, I let go But You reached out to catch me Even when I deserved to have fallen back To the place where I knew Id be incomplete Your love never faded to take me back Even though I wanted to leave Life passed me by and I wonder You chose to remember My name, my words, and my heart Broken free from the Father So amazing this love, I could never say Just enough to describe all Youve given me But no, its not easy to separate What Ive done and what I believe And though Ive been so hard to get You never gave up on me yet You said You werent finished with me And here I was, waiting to be free Theres no one else, Lord Theres no one who could see me The way that You do from above Cause even I, Lord The most undeserving child Could never escape from Your love Theres no one else, Lord Theres no one who could save me From all these pretensions I see Cause only You, Lord And no one could ever know How You stir the fire in me O You stir the fire in me Now I feel my heart breathing You stir the fire in me Now I feel my soul living On the wings of my Father I ride with grace And forever, O Lord, I feel so complete With all that I am, I affirm my faith Lord, in You, I want to believe O You stir the fire in me This everlasting ember With all of my heart I will sing Of Your love forever

once? I laughed at the sight of you carrying your Bible. I asked you questions about your new-found faith, mocked you about it, I knew it hurt you but youd then change topic. They said youd describe your best friend as a hard person, but it was because you never tried! They claimed you prayed for me, but wheres the action? I guess you dont truly believe the gospel you pledged allegiance to, because if you really do, I should have heard that from you because Im your best friend. If you fully understood my eternal destiny thats at stake, you should have fought for me! If you fully heeded the Voice of whom you tried to seek everyday, you should have heard His heartbeat for lost souls, His heartbeat for people like me! You should have shared me His message of love, the message that gave you your lifes meaning, the truth that quenched your thirst, and the word that satisfied your hunger! Whether I acted as unbelieving, not hearing, you should have pushed all the more! If the love they said you found in Him was so overwhelming, it should not have kept you mute about that love but instead kept you singing against all odds! But why were you so mute, unable to speak of that love during your storms, content of enjoying your personal salvation, not willing to sacrifice time on pursuing hard people like me, not running after hurting people like me, just praying and staring from afar at lost people like me, easily giving up, easily forgetting the mission you were born in and born for! The drugs Im taking to ease depression got a hold of me, causing my death. You never tried to share Jesus -the ticket to heaven- to me, I hate you! You could have been a special part of my grand testimonial story, my personal account of going back home to the kingdom, but you never stepped in and took your part. Best friend, all along you saw my life. Are you still content? You had a life but all I had was A LIFE THAT NEVER WAS. Emily

When A Leaf Falls

By Corinna Sajolan

Baptismal certificates were handed out to the baptized members of the church, and newly committed individuals were formally endorsed to their caring circles. The heads of the service teams presented the vision of their teams and shared the activities and accomplishments of their ministry. The program was further enlivened by the announcement of winners for the Fun Awards, including Major2x Bloopers, Celebrity Look - Alike, Out of This World Talent, Impersonator, Signature Move, and Catchiest Tagline. The winners were elected by the church the week before the celebration.
