Alicewassittingbytheriverbanklisteningtohersisterreadabook.Onceortwice Alicelookedintothebookonlytofindthattherewerenopicturesinit,andAlicethought thattherewasnousereadingabookwithoutpicturesinit.Soon,Alicebecamevery sleepyandfeltasifshewereabouttofallasleep.Suddenly,shesawawhiterabbitrun pasther.I'mlate!I'mlate!yelledtherabbit.Alicehadneverseenatalkingrabbitwith acoatorawatch.Alicewasinterestedinwheretherabbitwasgoingandfinallybeganto followhimintoasmallrabbithole.

Whatcouldarabbitpossiblybelatefor?Aliceaskedherselfasshecrawled through thedarkrabbithole.Suddenly,shefelldownintoatunnel.itwaslitwithlampshanging offthewallsandbookcases.Finally,shefellintoapileofleaves.Therewasanotherroom fullofdoors.Shesawthewhiterabbitheadthroughoneofthedoors.Aliceattemptedto followhim,butthedoorwastoosmallforhertofitinto. Justthen,Atableappearedinthemiddleoftheroomwithabottlethatsaid DRINKME.Alicelookedatthebottletomakesureitwasnotpoison,andthendrank theliquid.Ittasteslikeroastturkey,carrots,friedchicken.....saidAliceassheshrank tothesizeofthedoor.Asshetriedtoopenthedoorshediscoveredthatitwaslocked. Thisbookwasbrilliant!Itisoneofmyfavoritebooksofalltimes,andIwantedto readitoverandoveragain.MyfavoritepartofthestorywaswhenAlicewasfollowing therabbitthroughthedarkrabbithole.TheworstpartofthestorywaswhentheQueen threatenedtocutoffAlice'shead.IthinkLewisCarrolwrotethisbookbecausehewanted ustoseethepowerofasimpledream.
