Self-awareness and leadership training

Objectives:

At the end of the seminar, the core group will be able to:

1. Know more of one self by sharing with others.

2. Define leadership.

3. Enumerate the good characteristics of a leader.

4. Realize the value of cooperation and participation in leadership.

Activity: “photo language”

1. Provide pictures that project lifestyle of people.

2. Put them on a visible place.

3. For about, 1-2 minutes, select the pictures that represents themselves.

4. Share their realizations to the group.

5. Process the activity with the following questions:

a) What do they observe?

b) What do they feel?

c) What do they realize from the activity?

Relate the activity to the concept of man,

 Needs of man

 Rights and responsibility of man:

• the right to life

• the right to respect for private and family life

• the right not to be punished for something that wasn't a crime when
you did it
• the right to an education

Layunin:

Pagkatapos ng pagsasanay o ng seminar na ito, ang core


group ay:

1. Lalo pang makikilala ng husto ang bawat isa sa


pamamagitan ng pagbabahagi ng kanilang katangian sa iba.

2. Makikilala ang mga uri n glider.

3. Mapaghuhulo ang kahalagahan ng kooperasyon at


partisipasyon sa isang pamunuan o organisasyon.

Gawain: “photo language”

1. Maghanda ng mga litrato na maihahalintulad sa katangian o


ugali ng bisang tao.

2. Ilagay ito sa lugar na lantad sa paningin.

3. Magbigay ng 1-2 minuto, mamili ng litrato na kung saan


maihahalintulad ang sarili.

4. Ibahagi ang kanilang pananaw sa grupo.

5. Ipagpatuloy o palawakin ang Gawain sa pamamagitan ng


mga sumusunod na tanung:

a) Ano ang naobserbahan o napansin niyo?


b) Ano nagging pakiramdam niyo?

c) Ano ang na-realize niyo sa gawain?

Pagpapaliwang:

Kahit sa ibang bagay may pagkakaiba at kanya-kanyang


pananaw ang bawat isa at dapat itong tanggapin, upang
magkasundo at makilala ng bawat isa sa organisasyon ang ugali
at katangian ng bawat myembro. Bilang isang tao o nilalang may
mga pangunahing pangangailangan tayo gaya ng bahay-
silungan,hangin, tubig, at pagkain para mabuhay. At meron din
tayong karapatan at resposibilidad matanda man o bata gaya
nalang ng karapatang mabuhay.
