Consultant on Targeted Intervention Profiling Studies (TIPS) for NACO and extensively
traveled for profiling of organizations in various States and Union Territories (UTs) of
India by working as Investigator- Resource Center for Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS,
New Delhi. Consultancy on NGO and international development for a number of
organizations. Consultancy provided in drafting “HIV/AIDS Bill” as presented to
Parliament (2005) of Govt. of India. Contributed in Agra Workshop (2004) on

Memorial as State Coordinator (U.P. State) being world’s largest grassroots AIDS event
of the Global Health Council (U.S.A.). Performed, as team leader, health promotion
activities (e.g. BCC, STI service delivery & Condom programming) and strongly
encouraged sex workers to insist on condom use (Engender Health evaluations).
Responsible for developing IEC materials targeting high-risk groups as well as general
population which shared with PATH/India (Program for Appropriate Technology in
Health, India) after having a request from Senior BCC Consultant of PATH/ India
towards a joint initiative between FHI (Family Health International), NACO and PATH to
develop IEC materials targeting policy makers for use an advocacy tool promoting policy
legislation to reduce HIV/AIDS-related stigma and discrimination. Worked with UNICEF
as Project Coordinator on BCC project.

HIV/AIDS given to NCC Cadets, 47th Batallian at Basti, Trained T.I. project
personnel on components of Behaviour Change Communication (BCC), Sexually
Transmitted Diseases (STDs) & Condom promotion. Trained as Master Trainer on
issues of Sex & Sexuality/ Gender issues/ HIV/AIDS. Received trainings in T.I.

As head of the Global science Academy, responsible for all its activities including
appointment (& removal) of staff, making proposals to funding agencies, overall

provisions for activities carrying out after the resolutions passed by the Executive
Committee. Operating, with President, the joint bank-accounts. Ex-officio responsible to
various projects. Participated 14th International AIDS Conference at Barcelona (Spain) on
nomination made by Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, Georgia,
USA. Participated, 7th International Congress on AIDS in Asia & the Pacific (ICAAP), as
one of the Official-India delegate on nomination made by UNAIDS (Joint UN
Programme on HIV/AIDS).
Languages:
Fluent in written and spoken English and Hindi both, while understand and spoke
Gujarati & Bengali languages of India. As foreign language understand Spanish to the
some extent.
