These Release Notes discuss the steps to install Oracle9i Database release 2 (9.2.0.3.0) on the 32-bit version of Windows Server 2003. These Release Notes supplement Oracle9i Database Release Notes for Windows and component readme files that were distributed with Oracle9i Database release 2 (9.2.0.1.0) for Windows software. Note: After installing the 9.2.0.3.0 patch set some Oracle
components may not have a 9.2.0.3.0 version number. These components are still certified and supported by Oracle Corporation provided the documented installation procedures are followed.
Before upgrading to Oracle OLAP release 9.2.0.3.0, export all the Analytic Workspaces used by the Express Interchange Files (.eif). After upgrading, import the Express Interchange Files into Oracle OLAP Analytic Workspaces. Upgrade to Oracle OLAP release 9.2.0.3.0, then apply patch 2866965 to allow Analytic Workspaces to be read correctly. This patch is available from OracleMetaLink.

Create a directory for this component. For example, c:\temp\92010. Download the software from OTN at http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/oracle9i/htdo cs/winsoft.html. Unzip the software into the directory you created for this component. For example, c:\temp\92010. Install the software.
