FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) Based on my experience, what is the best position for me? All available positions are outlined online and include requirements to help you better understand the jobs available. Please review the posted positions and apply for those positions for which you are interested and qualified. If you have any questions about a position, please contact our recruiter. 2) What type of training will I receive? Once a candidate is selected, IT training will be provided for clinical and business systems candidates. Training in health care terminology, workflows and processes will be provided to IT candidates without health care experience. Selected candidates will also be provided extensive Epic training at the Epic headquarters in Verona, WI and required to obtain Epic certification.

3) There are multiple positions listed under the same title. Do I have to apply to all of the listings? If you apply for just one position for which you qualify, and the interview team feels you are a better fit for another position, they will notify the other team of your interest. 4) If I leave my department, will I be replaced? Joining the LMConnect team will require leaving your current job to work full time in Information Services or in Physician Network System Services. We will need to continue our regular business activities, so your director will work with Human Resources to fill the position you are leaving. 5) As a part of the LMConnect Team, who will be my supervisor? The organizational structure for the Epic Team is currently being defined and will be communicated prior to any final job offer.

6) When will the implementation begin? The target date for hiring team members is November 2011 with EPIC training scheduled for February 2012. 7) Will I have a job within the LMC system once the implementation is complete? Following the go-live date, the majority of the new roles will remain regular positions. We hope you enjoy your new career and choose to remain in your new position; we understand, however, if you prefer to return to your specialty area. Human Resources will assist you by providing priority placement for those vacancies matching your qualifications, training and interest. 8) What will happen to my pay? Our compensation philosophy is to provide market competitive pay for all our positions at LMC. We are currently researching various salary surveys to ensure that we have the most up to date market data for these new roles.
