AMX 301 Multicultural Studies Aug 2011 First Assignment INSTRUCTIONS

Answer FOUR of the questions belowQuestion 1, which is compulsory and 3 other questions. Each response should be between 300350 words. All questions carry equal marks. Feel free to engage with as many of the articles you have read as you deem appropriate for each of the questions, but avoid repetition in your answers. Secondary readings, while not necessary, may be used where you think appropriate. Submit your responses through Turnitinplease do so through the Group Pages set up for your respective tutorial groups. Please make sure you know how to submit under Turnitin before you attempt to do so. Read instructions in Blackboard carefully before you submit. Please leave out front and back pages (e.g. cover sheet, reference page) in your online submission. Turnitin will be available from 5pm Friday, Sep 16th through 5pm Monday, Sep 19th. After the deadline, submissions will not be possible on Turnitin. Anything that is not submitted by this time will be graded at least a letter grade lower than what the contents merit. As well as adhering to the Monday 5pm online deadline, a hard copy with the signed cover sheet (and reference page) will also have to be submitted to your tutor by that time. Please put this in your tutors mailboxunless your tutor has made other arrangements with you.
