• Welding Consumables Design & Development on Low Hydrogen, Low alloy, Stainless steel, Reclamation
consumables SAW Flux combinations & implement the same on specific jobs according to ASME/BIS code
or specific customer’s requirements to weld or repair various grades of ferrous & non ferrous materials.

/ root cause analysis procedures for assessing the causes of the same n specific areas of welding.
• Monitoring the operational cycle, QMS, EMS, Product Quality Audit, Quality cost, Quality conformity
report & drawing up the QAP with necessary up gradation.
• Approved the welding consumables from International & national approval authorities like LRS, ABS, IRS,
DNV, BV, IBR, NPC, RDSO to name a few and prepare the WPS for the same.
• Implementation of cost reduction projects on quality fronts and maintaining global standard.
• Strengthening existing vendor source & developing alternate suppliers for achieving quality supply of the raw
materials with economy view point.

Projects:-
• Solving critical extra low carbon deposit of E317LN-16 type electrode for GEA Energy System.
•Developing PIPEWELD 6011 electrode having very high penetration capability for square butt joint in DLW,
Varanasi.
• Developing a modified ESAB 430 for BHEL,Bhopal with sufficient toughness & suitable for positional
welding.
• Developing a rutile base OK 67.67 (E309-16 type) to produce a high Mn content deposit having excellent
resistance to corrosion & oxidation at very high temperature up to 1100°C and also suitable for MS to SS
welding for BHEL, TRICHY.
Other Achievements:-
• Responsible for product standardizations, the implementation and documentation of ISO14001, ISO 9001
standards and internal audits.
• Ensuring the continuation zero external rejections for a long period & maintain minimum internal rejections
& rewarded.
