Animales utilisées : souries mâles et femelles (30 à 35 g/kg Pc) d’âge dès 8 semaines à 10
semaines
Animales utilisées : 32 rats mâles et femelles de (210 +/- 10 g), 4 groupes chacune à 8 rats.
Toxicité aiguë :
Jour 1 : administration à 3 rats 2000 mg/kg Pc (les rats ont été observé pendant la première
heure pour tout signe de toxicité ou la mortalité)
Jours 2 et 3 : administration de 2000 mg/kg Pc
Tous les des rats ont été observés quotidiennement pendant 14 jours pour observer tout effet toxique
retardé.
(la DL50 d’Euphorbia hirta est supérieure à 2000 mg / kg. Loomis et Hayes classifiées les substances
avec DL50> 2,000 mg / Kg comme substance relativement non toxique)
Toxicité sub-chronique : Administration oral une fois par jour pendant 14 jours.
