Quality Policy
It is the policy of Phelps Dodge International (Thailand) Limited. To
manufacture and market products which are of the highest quality
and reliability. It is also a Phelps Dodge International (Thailand)
Limited. Policy to comply with iso 9001, all applicable regulatory
requirements, customer satisfaction and continually improve the
effectiveness of the quality management system by establishing
and reviewing annual quality objectives and targets.
ISO 9001 Certification
(Maneeya office, Bangplee and Rayong Plant)
In August 1995, Phelps Dodge International (Thailand)
Limited was proud to be the first electric wires and cable
firm in Thailand to obtain the International ISO 9001
quality standard certificate for all its factories. The
company received the ISO 9001 certificate from the
British Approvals Services for Cables (BASEC), a
standard accreditation authority which has been testing
cables for over 20 years.
For another step of global competitiveness, in
September 2000, Phelps Dodge International (Thailand)
Limited had accomplished ISO 9001 standard from UL
(Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) in replacement of the
former certificate from BASEC. With strict compliance to
the regulatory outlines and practice of UL, Phelps Dodge
International (Thailand) Limited committed to the Environmental, Occupational
customer satisfaction for every product and services
offered.
