(flame retardant, low halogen emission, etc.). Phelps Dodge International (Thailand) Limited has
been exporting its quality cable to the U.S., Middle
Quality Policy & Assurance East, Asia and Indochina for many years.
Phelps Dodge International (Thailand) Limited follows continuous and
strict procedures throughout every production process. Our quality
control begins with the careful scrutinization of raw materials and
continues to the testing of final products; where every finished length

before it is shipped to our customers.

As part of our standard operating practice, these reliability tests, in
many cases surpass general industry standard. In order to cope with
the volume and accuracy required of such units introduced in
Thailand.

In fact, Phelps Dodge International (Thailand) Limited is the only
supplier in Thailand with complete in-house facilities for testing power
cable up to 400 kV.

Phelps Dodge International (Thailand) Limited has got its certification

ISO 9001 Certification
(Maneeya office, Bangplee and Rayong Plant)

In August 1995, Phelps Dodge International (Thailand)
Limited was proud to be the first electric wires and cable
firm in Thailand to obtain the International ISO 9001
quality standard certificate for all its factories. The
company received the ISO 9001 certificate from the
British Approvals Services for Cables (BASEC), a
standard accreditation authority which has been testing
cables for over 20 years.

For another step of global competitiveness, in
September 2000, Phelps Dodge International (Thailand)
Limited had accomplished ISO 9001 standard from UL
(Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) in replacement of the
former certificate from BASEC. With strict compliance to
