Amanda’s Code of Ethics

Ethics is our Mission:


It is the intention of “AF Designs” to comply with the below Code of Ethics, to uphold
the company’s reputation and stand up for the good of others.
AF Designs strives to conduct all business activities in an ethical and professional
manner, giving consideration to all persons and stakeholders involved.

Ethical Management Practices


1. Software Register
i. AF Design only uses licensed software which it has purchased
legally
ii. No illegal software is used in any way by AD Designs.
iii. AF Deigns keeps records of every software product, licence and
machine that it is running on. This is audited to ensure
compliance.
iv. AF Designs will take legal action against those who use our
license software illegally.
2. Copyright Materials
i. AF Designs will not publish content of a copyrighted nature
without obtaining written approval from owner
ii. If AD Designs uses copyrighted materials, they will give credit to
the owner/author.

Public Information/Communication

3. Advertising and Marketing
i. AF Designs will not intentionally provide information that is
deceptive, misleading or inaccurate
ii. AF Designs will not advertise promotions or special offers if they
do not have the intention of offering it.
4. Clarity of Information
i. AF Designs will present all information accurately in plain
English.
ii. Any terms and conditions will be clearly stated for the
client/customer to read before making a decision.
5. Access to Information
i. A client may submit a written request for a copy of their
information that AF Designs hold. However AF Designs has the
right to request proof of identify before providing this
information.

6. Maintaining Records and Information


i. AF Designs has firm accounting procedures and records all
transactions cash or otherwise.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
i. AF Designs considers the its privacy and the privacy of its clients
as vital.
ii. At no time will confidential details of a client, employee or
stakeholder be given to a third party, without written consent by
that person.
iii. AF Designs understands that confidential information has a level
of risk associated with it and therefore ensures high security
storage of all information and continuous monitoring of all
information.
8. Disclosure of Information
i. AF Designs disclose any relevant information to a client,
employee or stakeholder providing it does not conflict with any
other section of this code.
ii. AF Designs will not withhold information from a client, employee
or stakeholder if it will directly affect them.

Conflicts of Interest
9. Conflicts of Interest
i. AF Designs will not accept contracts that would cause a conflict
of interest.
ii. AF Designs will not become involved in a business relationship
with two clients from the same industry, unless they were
completely different markets.
iii. AF Designs will not accept any contract that will breach this
Code of Ethics
iv. No employee of AF Designs will promote, sell or push a products
or service that they will directly benefit from.
v. Should a conflict of interest arise, AF Designs will rectify the
situation promptly

10. Products and Services
i. AF Designs will only provide products and services of the highest
quality.
ii. AF Designs completes in-depth research into every product to
ensure that the products and services provided to a client suits
their needs, goals, budget and other requirements.
iii. AF Designs understand that the industry is ever evolving and is
continuously providing training for employees that the company
as a while stay current in the industry.

11. Employee Behaviour
i. All employees of AF Designs will treat clients and stakeholders
with respect and meetings with clients will be conducted in a
professional manner.

i. Professional skills, knowledge and qualifications of all AF Design
Employees will be correctly presented.
13. Contact
i. AF Designs will endeavour to keep continuous contact with client
throughout the entire project.
ii. AF Designs will keep the client informed about the progress of
the project and advise if there is any changes or interruptions
that will affect or have an impact on the project.

i. No employee is forced to work overtime, weekends or public
holidays
ii. Hours of employment will be flexible to suit family/personal
commitments.
19. Discrimination
i. Discrimination will not be tolerated.
20. Illegal Drug and Alcohol
i. Intoxication in the workplace or in any dealing with clients will
not be tolerated.
ii. Disciplinary action will be taken if necessary.\
21. Use of Organisation Property
i. Any property of AF Designs shall not be used in any way that
could cause harm, injury or disturbance to others.
ii. Any property of AF Designs shall not be used for any illegal
activities.
