ACTIVITY INFORMATION
11-45841 (ATTEMPTED HOME INVASION) On 9/21/2011, at approximately 12:00AM, deputies responded to the 1700 block of Emerson Ave, Ypsilanti Twp, for the report of an attempted home invasion that had just occurred. Multiple Sheriff Units arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. The victim told deputies that family members were awoken when they heard a ground floor bedroom window screen being cut. A family member saw an unknown person trying to get through the cut screen and enter the house; the family member yelled at the suspect, who then fled the area. Police K-9 units assisted with the investigation; no suspect was located at the time of the investigation. No property was reported stolen. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting; no suspect description was available. The incident is actively being investigated by area deputies.

11-45848 (LARCENY OF SEWER COVERS) Deputies were dispatched to the area of Holmes Rd and Allen St, Ypsilanti Twp, for a traffic complaint. A passerby called Central Dispatch to inform police sewer covers were missing from the road, potentially causing a traffic hazard. Deputies investigating the scene discovered two (2) sewer grates had been removed from the area roadway. No suspect information was available. The incident remains under investigation.

11-45862 (HOME INVASION / STOLEN VEHICLE) Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Twp are investigating a residential break-in which occurred in the 2900 block of Southlawn St. The victim called police on 9/21/2011, at about 6:00AM. Investigators believe the break-in occurred sometime during the night, while the victim was at home. The victim told deputies that they did not hear anything suspicious during the night. However, when the victim was getting ready for work they discovered their cars keys were missing, a window screen had been cut, and other items had been stolen from the homeincluding a car. No suspect information was available at the time of this posting. The burglary is under investigation by area deputies. 11-45917 (HOME INVASION) Deputies from the Dexter Patrol Area are investigating the burglary to a residence in the 4000 block DexterPinckney Rd, Webster Twp. The victim contacted police on 9/21/2011, after coming home mid afternoon and discovering the break-in. Investigators believe the burglary occurred between the early daytime hours of 9/21/2011 and mid afternoon 9/21/2011. The home was entered through a window off the deck on the back side of the house. A crime scene technician processed the scene for evidentiary purposes. Multiple items were stolen. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The burglary continues to be investigated by area deputies. Stolen Property: 1 Sony DVD/surround sound system 1 Dell laptop PC 1 Craftsman circular saw 1 Craftsman socket set 1 Dewalt corded drill 1 Dewalt cordless tool set (drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw) 1 Beretta 40cal handgun 1 Golden Eagle compound bow 1 Matthews Monster compound bow

11-45922 (HOME INVASION) Deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of Andrew St, Ypsilanti Twp, on 9/21/2011 for a residential burglary. Investigators believe the break-in occurred during daytime hours on 9/21/2011 while the victim was at work. Multiple items were stolen from inside of the house. Investigators are still attempting tom determine how the home was entered. No suspect information was known. The case remains under investigation by area deputies. Stolen Property: 1 Smith & Wesson .357 handgun (revolver) Unknown quantity of cash

ARREST INFORMATION
11-45842 (WARRANT ARREST) Deputies from Ypsilanti Twp arrested a wanted subject on 9/21/2011, at approximately 12:45AM. The deputies were conducting proactive patrol in the area of Grove Rd and McCartney Ave when the wanted subject was encountered. After identifying the subject, the citizen was taken into custody without incident.
