Animal Farm Web Quest Greetings students!

You know the story of the birth of our country through colonization and revolution. Throughout history, many other countries have had revolutions and civil wars. Our revolution produced a democracy, where people elect their representatives. We will be reflecting this year on some other forms of government that are very different from ours. Animal Farm is about a revolution that was very different from our own. Web Quest Instructions You will need to visit each of these web sites, but you can do so in any order. At each web site you are going to follow the steps and answer questions and reflect on what you learn. Please remember to copy and paste the links instead of clicking on them. Some Brief Background for Animal Farm *George Orwell wrote the book to let people know what he thought of the Russian Revolution *Although the book is about animals, it is not a children s book! *Orwell also wrote another cautionary tale called 1984, which depicts a world where cameras record your every move and government spies on the people.
