Step 1: Thread slide buckle onto the collar first.
Important Note: Slide buckle also prevents collar from becoming loose around your dogs neck. Important Note: Ribs must be facing up, otherwise collar will slip if it is not properly threaded. Step 2: Thread end of the collar up through the buckle.
Step 3: Thread excess collar through the slide buckle to hold it in place. This will allow you to adjust your pets collar as he grows.

III. Turning your remote trainer on & selecting operating mode Mode 1. Automatic Shut-off. Receiver shuts off
automatically after 45 minutes of non-use to conserve battery power. Locate the two dots on both the transmitter and receiver then slowly place two dots together for 3 seconds and then separate. Listen for one short beep.

Mode 2. Manual Shut-off. Receiver remains on until manually turned off. After placing the receiver in mode 1, within 5 seconds of the first beep, slowly place dots together again for three seconds and then separate. Listen for two short beeps.

To turn receiver off from either Mode 1 or 2, slowly place dots together for 3 seconds and then separate. Listen for a long beep.

] DO monitor your dog during initial use. \ DONT put collar on too tight. \ DONT leave on for extended periods of time. \ DON'T use until throughly reading the training manual.
VI. Begin training
Please read the training manual thoroughly and review the video before beginning training.
VII. Maintenance
Perform each of the following: ] Check batteries (monthly). ] Clean probes with alcohol (weekly). ] Be sure that the probes are tightened securely to the receiver (monthly). ] Check your pets neck for any irritation (daily).
