The Chteau lan Catering and Culinary team thank you for considering us to host your event! Chteau lan has a unique sense of place, staffed by experienced professionals that set us apart in our guest service standards and attention to detail. It is our desire to ensure all the elements leading up to the event, and the day itself run absolutely flawless. On 3,500 acres of natural beauty, Chteau lan resides within the sweeping panorama of the north Georgia foothills, just 40 minutes north of Atlanta we are a world away from the worries within the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, French provincial and southern hospitality combine to produce an ideal setting for a perfect wedding. The lush vineyards and 16th century style French Chteau that is the centerpiece of the resort look like something youd see in the Loire Valley of France or Napa Valley in California.
MINIMUMS & PROVISIONS A food and beverage minimum amount is determined for each event, and varies depending on the number of guests, location and date. The food and beverage minimum does not include taxes, service fees, facility fees, dcor or other unrelated items. The food and beverage minimum should not be considered an estimate of the costs for the wedding, as this will vary considerably depending on the specific details of your event. Chteau lan Winery & Resort must provide all food and beverage for your event. GUARANTEES/ SERVICE CHARGE The final guaranteed number of guests must be received by 10:00am one week prior to your event. This guarantee may not be reduced after this time. Your charges will be based on the guaranteed number, or the actual attendance, whichever is greater. A twenty-two (22%) percent taxable service charge and applicable State tax (currently 7%) will be added to all food and beverage charges. BAR & BEVERAGE
Chteau lan offers a Premium or Deluxe Brand Bar to enhance your festivities, available as a package or on a consumption basis. Our own Award-Winning Wines are served on all banquet bars. Chateau lan recommends one bartender per 75 guests. There is a labor fee of $100 per bartender and $100 per cashier for consumption based bars.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT To secure your date, a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit is required. 50% of the estimated bill is due three months prior to event date and a full estimated payment of the event is due one week prior to your wedding. A personal check cannot be accepted for the final payment. A credit card authorization form must be completed, prior to the event, for any additional charges. SUITE/ GUEST ROOM RESERVATION
Should you require rooms for your out of town guests, a number of rooms at a reduced rate can be reserved under the name of your event based on availability. Your Catering Manager will provide you with the details and a contract to reserve the rooms.
PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS A recommended outside vendor listing is available for additional professionals including exceptional and experienced Photographers, Florists, Bakeries, Entertainment Agencies, as well as other services you may require for you event. CHILDREN PRICING There is a child friendly meal (4-10 years old) available. Pricing may vary by menu. Please ask your Catering Manager for further details. 2
