1st Editors Smorgasbord, 29 September, 2011: Friends, This should be our points for our supposed first meeting.

Apparently, this is the time of year when we have also our own problems, blame it to our teachers. So, instead of a meeting, this letter is supposed to state the points I will discuss. RE: AllEveryone is invited to propose a topic on what our next Tasyo; your proposal may be what we are looking for. Side comment: As for my entry, I would propose fear as what we may have as our topic on our issue, since it is something we all can relate to and is something that can be discussed in great length. For submission of entries: send an email of your topic and a short deliberation on why it should be chosen. Send it to: eparayaoan@ymail.com. Deadline for submissions is on the 13th of October, 11:59PM. Calendar of Proposed activities: Early November: Seminar 1on Editing, Proofreading, Adobe PS (for layout) / MORE PLANNING /send letters to call for contributions on first week of class (please suggest other orgs to tap beside teachers for articles about the proposed topic, e.g. The Assembly`s ORA etc.) / First collection of names for Meron shirt printing during second week of class (Log)/ look for a viable and affordable t-shirt printer on first week of class (Finance) December: look for a viable printing press (Suggestion: Jobars, an alumnus and an ex-seminarian)/ distribution of Meron shirts by second week /Deadline for submission of article contributions on the 17th/ Edit over the break, Leisurely :) January: DEADLINE FOR FIRST REVISIONS ON THE 5TH/ second round of revision on 9 to 15th. DEADLINE OF SECOND REVISION ON THE 15th. Layout to work from the 16th to the 31st, so that you can focus too on other academic concerns after this crunch time. February: Proofreading on the 1st to 5th. Afterwards, it will be sent to the printing press for printing. What we can do afterwards is relax or divulge ourselves in other academic or personal pursuits, as the Tasyo is being printed. March: During the Seniors Send-off Tasyo is released. Then we plan again for the next issue. RE: EBSince there are seven? Senior EB`s and understudies, you will work by pairs. Assignments of pairs are to follow. Can we concede upon the final topic on the 14th? Venue and time TBA, most preferably as an afternoon snack 4:30-6PM RE: LayoutThere is nothing yet to discuss much, but please do come with the EB on the 14th. RE: Financeways of earning funds (Should there be no Sanggu grant or insufficient funds be given) --staving off part of 11 thousand (of Sem1 fund) for sale of Philo Merch (Meron Shirts, button pins etc.)to be sold during A-Fair. --Meron Shirts can be sold with the help of Philo profs in their classes (sign-up sheet for those interested) --Bookayukay and Zeitgeist booksales (I`m talking to youSkalyx:) --Philo Alkansya (excess from Samahan expenditures will be for Tasyo, pleaase) --Solidarity fund (How much? 50 for undergrads and 100 for graduating batch?)

This system of signups for those who will buy the shirts is done so as to avoid excess shirts and have a definite number of reserves. Please do also come on the 14th. Since this letter seems one-sided and somehow deprives you of a proper response, you can freely comment in form of email (my email address can be seen above) or via Facebook.
