Engaging in activities ranging from community development to international projects, members demonstrate their social responsibility and improve themselves through participation, leadership and action. The global citizens of JCI are committed to becoming better leaders to build a better future for all. JCI Training Since its start in 1990, the JCI Training area has seen major changes and is now operating more and more like a professional training organization aimed to the development of new trainers who in turn will help JCI officers to efficiently fulfill their duties and ensure the members have the skills and knowledge to act responsibly in local activities. Since the establishment of the online tools in 2006 to its complete online and paperless certification system finished in 2007, JCI Training is also moving towards a more efficient operational system and professional standards for training within the organization aimed to provide standardization in the quality of the training courses delivered. The Certified JCI Head Trainer program is aimed to continuously develop new and young trainers by coaching and providing opportunities to train with more experienced trainers at JCI Official courses. The online tools for JCI Official courses organization and registration will keep records of all training activities not only of trainers, but also of all members who participate in JCI Official courses. Trainers who want to reach higher levels in the JCI Training Certification program must record their training hours online and for the level of National Graduate, International Graduate and International Training Fellow the applicants must also upload the three files (trainers guide, manual and slides) of the training courses they designed. Under the tab My Trainer Status the database shows what the trainer has accomplished and what is still missing for the next level. It also shows the certification levels achieved and the courses to apply for Head or Assistant Trainer when the criteria are met in the database. This User Guide is designed to help trainers who are designing their own training courses to apply for certification.

Here is a way to reduce the size of the pictures and graphics and anlo reduce the total size of the Power Point file: 1. Open the Power Point file you want to reduce. 2. Click on File then on Save as and the dialog box will open. 3. On the top right of the dialog box, click on Tools and then on Compress Pictures. This will compress the pictures and reduce the size of the Power Point file. 4. A new dialog box will open and there select the default options or select All pictures in document, Print and the two boxes under Options. 5. Click OK and save the new file under a new name or just replace the current file. The images in the file will be reduced and the total size of the file should now be smaller.
