Ive worked from a fast paced sushi restaurant (Genki Sushi), to one of the top Japanese restaurants (Shokudo). Then moved on to one of Hawaiis top Italian/fine dining restaurants (Assagios).
Ive had pretty much every position in the FOH for a restaurant. I have experiences from hosting, to cashiering, to serving, to bussing.

I got to help Chef Mavro out with passing out his cooking at the Hale Aina Awards. It's great experience meeting all these great chefs and trying out their dishes. Attended primary schooling and high school at Pacific Buddhist Academy.
From the early days of working as only cashier and kitchen help, I have worked my way up to waiter. The last job experience comes from Genki Sushi Ward Center. The first fine dining restaurant I worked in would be KaIkena here at KCC. Where I learned the fundamentals of the front of the house. I then moved on to Shokudo restaurant to strengthen my hosting skills. Recently I have gotten my certificate for Sanitation and Safety. I also completed a Supervisory Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing Course.

Professional and Community Memberships Kawaii Kon Staff Member Personal Interests Culinary Trends- It's always changing, shaping itself into better and more memorable types of cooking. Such as fusion, it hit Hawaii very hard and pushed our culinary standards way up!I hope to learn a lot more about the culinary trends in society and to keep learning.

Books- I believe books are a fundamental to our learning as well as education and experience. I have read many books extending from culinary, management, finance, and human resources. Many of these books are from University level and some books help to apply to skills.
