COMPANY PROFILE
PT First Media Tbk (First Media) is the largest multimedia operator in Indonesia engaged in the operation of a fiber network and broadband communication system. First Media is the leading distribution of broadband internet (Broadband Internet), cable TV (CATV) and high-speed data communication services (DCS) to households and corporations in Indonesia. First Media is the dominant cable operator with more than 70% market share of total CATV subscribers (corresponding to about 28% market share of total pay-TV subscribers) and more than 45% market share of cable modem broadband internet subscriber (corresponding to about 15% market share of total broadband internet subscribers) in the country, as at the end of 2006. First Media is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In June 2007, First Media initiated a name change to First Media in conjunction with the launch of a new corporate identity and branding as a Triple Play connectivity provider with a full suite of digital broadband based product offerings, comprise of: a) always on, unlimited high speed Internet access services (under the brand FastNet), b) digital cable TV (under the brand HomeCable) and c) high speed, high capacity data communication solutions for business and commercial application (under the brand DataComm) that capitalize on First Medias advanced network and broadband capabilities.

FIRST MEDIA NETWORK ADVANTAGES


First Media owns and operates a technologically-advanced two-way 870 Mhz Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) cable network in Jakarta, Bali and Surabaya. The architecture and reach of First Medias network infrastructure positions it to play a leading role in the delivery of broadband services in major metropolitan Jakarta. First Medias main business operations consist primarily of delivering Broadband Internet accesses with high speed data services to subscribers and CATV programming through this network. First Media Network Multiple Upstream Providers (Indosat and Matrix Cable System) to access 1 st Tier ISP with 10 Gbps full local loop protection. Massive connection (10 Gbps) OpenIXP (Indonesia Internet eXchange/IIX) with local loop protection. Provide End-to-end Fiber Optic Transmission to the customer First Media Network Routing Use BGP Routing Protocol for Internet connection User flexibility to implement static or dynamic routing (OSPF) protocol Use the next-generation intelligent network which is known as MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) that deliver a wide variety of advanced value added services over a single infrastructure First Media Core Network Use MPLS QoS Network to deliver End to End Quality of Service on IP Backbone Use MPLS Traffic Engineering (TE) to have Network High Availability and Traffic Capacity. Use most advance network equipment from Cisco Network and design by Cisco Advance Service

FIRST MEDIA NETWORK CHARACTERISTICS


First Media currently is one of the biggest ISP in Indonesia with 10 Giga bits per second (Gbps) bandwidth capacity from 2 prominent upstream provider to the 1st Tier ISP. The network system is designed to handle the Internet bandwidth capacity up to 10 Gbps and over 500,000 subscribers of cable modem and corporate customer it operates 24 hours with high network reliability.

First Media Internet service using BGP Routing through the Global Internet with Best-path route and shortest path techniques. First Media offer not only bandwidth capacity but also best experience internet service. We are continuing evaluate our internet service experience day to day.

First Media offer bundle package of broadband Internet services and high capacity fiber optic leased line as follows Broadband Internet Services 1. Customer will be able to have benefit of Bandwidth-On-Demand feature.
