CONCLUSION

From the literature review, we firstly determined the status and importance of this project in the market. From this, we have found that there are more advantages rather than the disadvantages from this scope of Ceiba Pentandra Machine which is used to do the separation of cotton fibers from the seeds. There also considered about the advantages and disadvantages for this design.

The advantages in developing this machine is it can save energy, can carried out in short of time and small in size. This will be an advantage for us to carry it together to anywhere. Other than that, it is easy to conduct, control and to use. Besides that, this process is an automatic process and easy to be handled by all of the workers compared to manual steps that was carried out before this. Once the suggestions were discussed, we decided and one ultimate design was chosen by all of us.

Brainstorming was made and we come up with an idea after the agreement from our supervisor and all of our group members. Each member in the group gave their opinions and suggestions about the project design. Our group members used a systematic plan to ensure that our work will go on smoothly and in the finish line. All of them gave their full part which needs to be completed by following the charts. At last, a design of the machine was done with creative and rational ideas. In this process, we have met many difficulties and few background problems. After we did more researches and reviews, a conclusion was made and the problems were solved. Each of the member were fully contributed their energy and cooperation to create a great design. This design has factors and procedures that need to give attention in order to produce a good product.

Each of our group members is responsible in developing the idea of inventing Ceiba Pentandra Machine. High commitment and cooperation for all of the team members are important in order to make our invention runs effectively and efficiently. Early planning and implementation work must be done with systematically to produce a better quality of work.

For the future development, this device can be modified for removing trash, drying, moisturizing, fractioning fiber, sorting, cleaning, and baling in large number of bundles. Besides that, by using an electric power and air-blast or suction techniques can also be used in producing more cleaned cotton in an hour if there is a good financial support in the future.

In this very short of time, we were able to overcome many problems and faced a lot of challenges in completing this final year project. However, thankful to God when the idea of designing and inventing Ceiba Pentandra Machine was popped out. It is hoped that this product will give benefits for all the people. The results from this suggested project helps us to produce a good quality project and follow all the procedures and task fulfillments which are set by Mechanical Engineering Department of Ungku Omar Polytechnic.
