Read this document carefully and contact us with any questions or problems before we arrive to

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (performances):

- Logistic support in arranging site specific interventions (talking to residents, getting permissions, communicating with city authorities, etc). A representative of the festival who will arrange this with the local community and preferably also accompany the group during the actions and the rehearsals.

- The group should arrive at least one day in advance to make preparations on the location. Minimum 5 hour rehearsal is needed for one location.

- The preparations for the performance (warming up, make up, etc.) start 3 hours before the show, all the arrangements, rehearsals, meetings, or interviews should be finished before this time.

- Dressing room for 10 people (not smaller than 5x5m) with lights, mirrors, chairs and bathroom with shower (with running hot water) close to the location of the action are required. Airconditioning or good ventilators are required in the dressing room. The dressing room should be available 3 hours before the actions and up to 2 hours after the show. If the group performs for more days, the same dressing rooms and showers should be reserved specifically for the group for the entire duration of their performing.

- For the "protection" of the bathroom from the pink color we require several plastic sheets together approx. 5-10 m2 depending on the size of the bathroom and one roll of gaffer tape.

- Washing and drying facilities for the costumes after each show.

- The organizers should provide a car with a local driver for each performance (at the end of the show, the aliens are usually stealing a car and driving away). The optimal car type is a pickup van with an open back.

- In case of 2 actions per day, the maximal interval between the actions is 1,5 hours. The optimal time for the performance is in daytime within commercial hours (while the shops are open) in a pedestrian zone that is meeting an area with slow moving traffic.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (Alien asylum installation):

- One building facade (or a part of it), with access to windows, balconies, etc. There should be enough space in front of the facade for the audience to gather, watch the beginning of the performance and interact with the installation.

- One space within the building (apartment, storage space, larger room, etc.) with windows on the facade for installing the technical equipment (sensors, computers etc.). The space should have electricity and light.

- Two 30m extension cables for electricity, if the electrical current is not 220V and 2 pin EU plugs then adapters for the electricity plugs are needed. More cables may be needed depending on the specific situation and size of building.

- One ladder (at least 5m) or outdoor genie lift (better for larger buildings) - Preferably the dressing space and shower should be located in the same building.

- Part of the team (5 people), should arrive to the location at least 3 days before the first performance.
