SEC|ION I TITLE - This Ordinance shall be known as "An Ordinance Establishing the Infanta Abattoir/Slaughterhouse in Barangay Pilaway, Infanta, Quezon and Appropriating Funds Therefor.
SECTION 2 shall mean:

- DEFINITION OF TERMS - As used in this ordinance, the following terms

2.1. Abattoir or $aughtertrqrse - rcfers to trre premises apprwed and registered by the government used in the slaughtering of animals for human mnsum$ion.

2.2. Slaughter consumption.

refers to the prccess of humane killing of animals intended for human

2.3. NMIS - NaUonal Fleat Inspection Service- the sole national controlling/competent authority attached to the Department of Agriculture charged by.the govemment with the
control of meat hygiene and meat inspection. 2.4. PDAF *,Priority Develognent Assistance Fund 2.5. Trc - Total Project Cost refers to the estimated amq.rnt in ttre constnrction of abattoir facility which includes site development, building construction, eguipment installation, provision of utilities s.rch as water, electricity, communications and others, except for land
acquisition.
SECTION 3 - APPROPRIATIONI. The initial amount of P2.5 Million peso is appropriated in the 20olo EDF of the 2010 budget as approved by the Municipal Dwelopment Council Additional fund for the completion of the project shall come from the PDAF of Congressman Mark Enverga and from the National Meat Inspection Service as reguested. Total Project Cost is estimated at
P7 Million Pesos.

SECTION 4 - Implementing Arm - The 1* Phase of the project will be undertaken by the Municipality of Infanta costing 2.4 Million Pesos thru bidding . Subsequent amount to be released from PDAF of Congressman Mark Enrrerga br conrpletion could be undertaken by DPWH or National Meat Inspection Service Technical Working Group Region IV-A.

SEPARABIUW CIAUSE - If arry part or prwi$on d this ordinance is held unconstitutional or invalid, other parts or provisions hereof which are not affected thereby shall continue to be in full ficrce and effiect.
