Cashew Chicken Casserole

cup chicken 1 cup cream of mushroom soup cup diced celery 3 oz. chow mien noodles cup milk 4 oz. can mushrooms 5 Oz. chopped cashew nuts Mix all ingredients except the nuts, put into 1 qt. greased casserole dish Sprinkle nuts on top Bake 40 minutes in 325 oven 6 servings Sent to me from Gladys Driggers Stweet Memories recipe book, by Jo Driggers

Edith Morgenthaler departed this life on Wedneday evening, September 21. She had just celebrated her 99th birthday in July. Edith was the oldest member of Mill Road Baptist Church. She and her husband joined MRBC in 1962. Edith was very active in her service for Christ. Pictured above, she is helping compile Scripture portions to be sent to Mission fields. Through the years she has taught in Sunday School and VBS; served in tract distribution , visitation; and played the piano. In the later years she has been very active in the Prime Time ministry, promoting it and bringing her friends to the fellowships. She was always a great supporter of her pastors; she loved the Bible and was certainly a woman of prayer. She was positive in her outlook on life and shared humor with everybody. She was so faithful.. Regardless of snow, ice, rain or cold, you could count on Edith being at church. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. ARE YOU SURE? Only fools talk of certainties, a teacher proclaimed boldly, Wise men are certain of nothing. Later a student asked him: Are you sure what you said this morning was true? The teacher replied; Young man, I Am Certain. +Be it known..that the only certainties are the Word of God that is eternal and forever settled.

YES, IM A SENIOR CITIZEN Im the life of the party .. Even if it lasts until 8 PM. . I'm very good at opening childproof caps With a hammer. Im awake many hours before my body allows me to get up Im smiling all the time, because I cant hear a thing that you are saying. Im sure everything I cant find is in a safe secure place, somewhere. Im wrinkled, saggy, lumpy, and thats just my left leg. Im beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps. Yes, I'm a SENIOR CITIZEN and I think I am having the time of my life! SENIOR CITIZENS are constantly being criticize for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world.. However, upon reflection, we would like to point out that it was NOT the senior citizens who took: The melody out of music. The pride out of appearance.. The courtesy out of driving the romance out of love The commitment out of marriage The responsibility out of parenthood. The thou shalt not's out of righteous living. Religion or a Relationship ?
The world is full of religion. Every person living is religious to some degree. It is just a part of our innate nature. Wherever you go in the world you find religion. There are many great organized religions, religious belief abound in every society and place in the world; people worship objects, systems, other men, ideals, nature and tradition. When the apostle Paul visited Athens, he observed the temples, shrines and altars. He saw one altar that had the inscription..To the unknown God (Acts 17:23) He said, Him I declare unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being. A person can practice religion, have religious beliefs and follow well established tradition , but without a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ, he will die in his sins and go to Hell. Jesus told Nicodemus, the Jewish Rabbi and teacher: Unless you are born again you cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3). What does it mean to have a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ? It means that you have come to know that there is only one way to God and that is through His Son. The Word says: He that believes on the Son has life and he that believes not on the Son does not have life, but the wrath of God abides on him (John 3:36) A person does not have the right before God to choose a religion or find his personal path to heaven. The Scriptures teach that there is a way that seems right to man, but the end of it is the way of death. You enter into this relationship with God by repenting of your sins and unbelief; believing with all your heart that God has raised Jesus Christ, His Son from the dead (Ro 10:13). At this point you are born again. This is Gods marvelous, supernatural work in you. He makes you a new creation; He imparts to you His divine nature and you become a child of God. From that moment you can walk with Him and know Him. I want to invite you to receive Christ today. To know Him is to have eternal life. What a relationship!
