- With this collection (several people come out at the same time) we are going to
symbolize our desire that the presence of God be an engine that encourages us to
promote justice and protection for the most disadvantaged.

- With this diaper we want to symbolize what we need to make Christmas authentic:
that we do not take the lives of those born. May we value the gift of life.

- With these rocks (stones) we want to commit to making the world a Bethlehem: a
house of brotherhood, forgiveness, love and generosity.

- Finally, with the bread and wine, we bring our fatigue to the altar, but also the desire
of all of us to offer the Child God the fruit of our effort to cooperate in a better world.

5.3. Bethlehem has the flavor of bread, of Christmas, of love. With this tray of slices of bread
we want to symbolize the spiritual and material food that God offers us every day and, above
all, the strength that Jesus Christ brings to our lives.

5.3. Bethlehem means “house of bread.” With this bread and this wine, we want to reflect the
goodness and love that occur in Bethlehem. The best bread is Jesus. We eat it and with it we
strengthen our Christian life.

With the BREAD , Lord, we want to symbolize on this Christmas day the
justice and love that you give us and bring with your birth. May we also
be BREAD for others.
With MILK , Lord, we express our gratitude for the coming of God to the
world. May Christians not lack the desire to please you by doing good in
your name.

With HONEY , Lord, we symbolize the sweetness of faith. Without it, life
is difficult. With faith, Lord, it is possible to face and emerge victorious
from difficulties.

With THE BREAD AND WINE TO CONSECRATE , we want to represent our firm
conviction that, YOU LORD, you make yourself truly present on the altar. May
we never stop worshiping you in this sacrament that you left us.
