1. SANI RESORT AND OCEANIA CLUB CONCEPT Dear colleague, With this pamphlet, we would like to welcome you in advance to Sani Resort & Oceania Club. It is designed to help you get settled into your new home away from home quicker and easier. In the first section you will find information about the location of our hotels, useful travel details and relevant telephone numbers. 3

In the second section, we give you some information about the villages you will be staying. We are also shortly describing your first day in Sani Resort and Oceania Club, your induction day in Human Resources Department, your meeting with your supervisor and your exact departmental placement in our hotels. In the third and final section, you are given some general information about your stay in Sani Resort and Oceania Club as well as the climate conditions in Chalkidiki. The date you are expected to arrive is the one mentioned on your contract. Please plan your trip one or two days prior to this date and inform us accordingly. 2. LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION 2.1. HOW TO ARRIVE IN THESSALONIKI In order to arrive in Sani Resort and Oceania Club, your first travel destination is Thessaloniki/Greece. Located within northern Greece (Central Macedonia) and being the second biggest city of Greece, after Athens, Thessaloniki is often referred to as the Country's Cultural Capital (http://www.thessaloniki.world-guides.com/). You can reach Thessaloniki/Greece by the following ways:

a. By plane Macedonia Airport is located around 15 km / 9 miles to the south-east of the city centre, near Thermaikos bay. The airport is connected to the city centre by 24-hour bus transport, operated by OASTH station. b. By bus Thessaloniki is connected via the intercity bus network with every corner of Greece. The Central Intercity Macedonia Bus Terminal lies in the westside of the city, at 194 Giannitson str. If you want to reach Thessaloniki from Athens: 5

Intercity buses from Athens make the trip to Thessaloniki in about 6:30 hours, including a 20-minute stop and cost approximately 40. If you want to reach Thessaloniki from other countries: A number of local travel agencies arrange transport to Thessaloniki daily by car or minibus. For the exact departure dates, costs and travel times, please contact relevant travel agencies in your country.

c. By train The Greek Railway Company is called Trainose. Thessaloniki Central Macedonia Train Station is located in the center of the city, closer to the Westside, at 28 Monastiriou str. There are daily direct train connections from/to Athens. There are also direct train connections to other countries: Sofia (6 hours) Bucharest Skopje (3:40 hours) Belgrade (12:40 hours) Istanbul (12:30 hours) You can buy Balkan FlexiPass tickets (Rail travel in Europe) for 50 in Thessaloniki Station's International Office.

2.2. HOW TO ARRIVE IN SANI RESORT AND OCEANIA CLUB Sani Resort and Oceania Club are in Kassandra Peninsula, the western of the three fingers of Chalkidiki, next to Sithonia and Mount Athos Peninsulas. Sani Resort is located in Sani area, close to Nea Fokea village. Oceania Club is located in Nea Moudania town. You can reach Sani Resort and Oceania Club by the following ways:

a. By taxi When you arrive in Thessaloniki, the easiest way to come either to Sani Resort or to Oceania Club is by taxi either from Macedonia Airport or Intercity Macedonia Bus Terminal or Macedonia Train Station. By taxi, it will cost you approximately 90. If arriving in a group, in order to reduce the cost, you can share a taxi with three more friends. b. By bus Buses for Chalkidiki depart from Chalkidiki Bus Station which is located in the eastside of the city. Chalkidiki bus station can be reached in two ways: By taxi: From Macedonia Airport, the taxi will cost approximately 10. From Macedonia Bus Terminal or Macedonia Train Station it will cost approximately 30. By bus: There is also one bus, No 78, operating the route from the airport (which is at the east side of the city) to the bus terminal and the train station (which are at the westside of the city). You can easily use it wherever you are: 1. Pick up the bus No 78 either from the airport, bus terminal or train station 2. Get off to IKEA bus stop 3. Pick up the bus No 36Z and get off to Chalkidiki Bus Station This route will cost you approximately 5.

When you reach Chalkidiki bus station: Pick up the bus to Kassandra-Kallithea and get off to Nea Fokea bus stop if you will be placed in Sani Resort or

Pick up the bus to Nea Moudania if you will be placed in Oceania Club.

This route will cost you 5 more.

3. NEA FOKEA VILLAGE Nea Fokea is the closest village to Sani Resort and the village where employee accommodation is located. Nea Fokea is an attraction for many tourists as it offers a unique natural beauty. The inhabitants of the village are 1.500 but during the summer months this number increases to 10.000. The village is developed enough to offer hotels and entertainment with many traditional cafes and famous sea-food tavernas. Sani Resort employee bus passes from the football court of the village almost every hour. You will be analytically informed on your first day in Human Resources Department. At your first arrival in Nea Fokea village, it would be better to take a taxi (contact taxi center: +30 2374099200) to reach Sani Resort. Employees of Human Resources Department are there to welcome you from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. In case you arrive late, you will find at the main gate of Sani Beach Hotel an envelope with your name which will include all the details you need to know about your accommodation and transportation from your room to the hotels and back. In case of unexpected arrival and in case you have not informed the Human Resources Department, you can book a room only for one night in one of the hotels of Nea Fokea village. 4. NEA MOUDANIA DIONYSIOU VILLAGE Nea Moudania is the closest village to Oceania Club, fifteen minutes walk from the hotel. In Nea Moudania you will find plenty of cafs, restaurants and tavernas with menus designed for every taste. The best fish restaurants can be discovered by the beach and are definitely worth a visit for their fresh juicy fish dishes served with locally-produced vegetables, cooked to a traditional greek recipe. There are also plenty of bars and clubs to keep you entertained until the small hours. The town also has a cinema and a waterfront open-air theatre showing quality productions throughout the summer. Nea Moudania offers plenty of shops. Every Wednesday, the largest outdoor market in the area takes place. 8

When you arrive in Nea Moudania, in order to reach Oceania Club, you can either take a taxi which will cost you approximately 5 (contact taxi center: +30 2373021371) or you may take the local bus (contact bus station: +30 2373021228) to Dionysiou Village which will drop you in front of the hotel. Dionysiou village is fifteen minutes walk from Oceania Club and the village where employee accommodation is located. Oceania employee bus passes almost every hour from Dionysiou village, across the main church. You will be analytically informed on your first day in Human Resources Department of Oceania Club. Human Resources Department at Oceania Club does not operate everyday. In case you arrive in a nonworking day, you will find at the reception of the hotel, an envelope with your name which will include all the details you need to know about your accommodation and transportation from your room to the hotel and back. In case of unexpected arrival and in case you have not informed the Human Resources Department, you can book a room only for one night in one of the hotels of the Nea Moudania town. 5. YOUR FIRST DAY IN SANI RESORT AND OCEANIA CLUB 5.1. Your first day in Human Resources Department After you have settled in your room, you are ready to take a more analytical look at the envelope we prepared for you. You will find a map of Nea Fokea village or Dionysiou village with some information to help you understand where you are and what you can do. You will see marked in the map your room and Sani or Oceania bus stops. You will also find the Employee Bus Schedule which shows what time you can take the bus. The bus will bring you to Human Resources Office, where you will be welcomed, registered and given all necessary information regarding your occupation and stay with us. You will also attain the induction day in a group which will be defined at your arrival. At the end of the induction day, you will be given the Employee Handbook and you will be able to answer some basic questions about Sani Resort and Oceania Club. The Employee Handbook is a very useful manual which must be carefully read during the first days of your stay. 5.2. Documentation Employees and trainees are required to bring with them the following documents: Passport ID card if acquired Visa card when coming from outside the European Union, 9

4 passport photographs Original contract, if not previously sent to the HR&D Department School License, if not previously sent to the HR&D Department (only for trainees) Certificate of studies, if not previously sent to the HR&D Department (only for trainees)

5.3. Your first day with your supervisor At your first day in Sani Resort and Oceania Club, you will be able to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner at the employee restaurant of the hotel you will be working. About your meeting with your supervisor, you will be informed by the HR&D department. When you will meet your supervisor, he/she will lead you to your department, give you your uniform, departmental manuals and schedule your training/working timetable. 6. GENERAL INFORMATION Your standard accommodation and meals are provided by Sani Resort and Oceania Club. In the room you will be staying, you will be supplied with: 1 2 1 2 pillow sheets blanket towels (face and body)

You will be given also a uniform which will be cleaned and ironed by the Linen Department of your hotels. According to the department you will be working at, you will be requested to purchase the appropriate footwear, therefore, do not buy any shoes prior to your arrival. During your stay, you will be entitled to three meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the staff restaurant of the hotel you will be employed. 7. THE WEATHER At the table below, you may have a first idea of what the weather is like in Chalkidiki. Make sure that if you arrive in April, you will definitely need some of your winter clothes. Maybe a scarf and warm socks will be helpful for the rainy days of spring! In the heart of the summer, the temperature is so high you wish you were at the beach all day long! Dont forget your swim wear!

When summer passes, September and October bring clouds and a jacket is absolutely necessary, especially in the early morning hours
