It involves guidance leading them to learn how to become responsible Christians It involves teaching all that I have commanded you - to know His plan and to do His will Teaching is to lead believers to obedience (not just to acquire more information or more skills) 3. The Promise v. 20b I Am, as a noun, would refer to the Almighty God Himself He is always with us regardless of time and space He is always with us regardless of our spiritual condition He is with us actively involved with our lives and ministries His promise is given very emphatically: I MYSELF AM with you always He is not sending the disciples (and us) AWAY FROM Him, but sending us ALONGSIDE Him Hence, to participate in the Great Commission is to enter into a deeper relationship with Him into His Presence for thats where He is CONCLUSION The Lord did not give us a Mission Impossible. He gave us a task which is possible by Him in Him through Him for Him He did not simply gave us the command, He also gave us His assurance; Authorization; detailed instruction; power, strength, grace; His presence (He committed Himself to us) He can do great and mighty things in and through you if you are willing to be His vessel reverently and obediently, doing what He wants us to do

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20 NIV)
I have to get to the point of the absolute and unquestionable relationship that takes everything exactly as it comes from Him. God never guides us at some time in the future, but always here and now. Realize that the Lord is here now, and the freedom you receive is immediate. Oswald Chambers My Utmost for His Highest
