    we find the strength to carry this cross daily and follow Christ? The presence of God is available to all his children through the Holy Spirit who resides in each of us. The Holy Spirits presence poses the most extreme threat to our fleshly way of living. Obedience in the Lords presence will certainly slay our carnal lifestyles. Facing God means turning away from the flesh as it deals death to the sins of pride, greed, envy, anger, lust, gluttony, and sloth by nailing them to the cross of Christ. Gods presence takes no prisoners, drives to doom, and leaves no hope for any trace of carnality in our lives. Seizing that ultimate change in God will transform us from the inside out. Will we die in the process? Yes we will! That is the ultimate goal when we carry our cross daily and follow Jesus. As we seek the face of God in Christ, our fleshly desires will fade away and die in his holy presence so that Holy Spirit may cause us to live supernatural lives.
