Organizational Details - THE TORCH BEARERS Time lapses, trends change, generations pass, but wisdom endures. The wisdom to live by, benefit from and take on the challenges ahead. Our institution as apart of its' quest for knowledge has drawn on this wisdom. Taken from the scriptures of Vedas, are the basic principles: vision, enterprise, teamwork, values, action and results. On the basis of these, we form our personal and business attributes. Mr. Mahendra Shah was born on 11th Dec.1954. He received his formal education in Arts Stream from M. S. University, Baroda. His instinctive love for children has brought him respect and admiration of the society. He is a person of substance with liberal and enlightened vision. In 1988, after rigorous efforts he started hostel having strength of 100 students at Karelibaug. Vadodara. Hard work and grace of God brought him fame and success as a result of which number of students increased gradually to 2000 students as on date. In the passing on of any great teaching a small number of people are gifted with the ability to both interpret and then to inspire others - tutors and students - with the desire to follow it. Mr. Mahendra Shah has these abilities and through this establishment, he is making a major contribution to the understanding and use of the most effective and beneficial education. For the first time in India at School level, C. C. T. V. with 64 Cameras have been installed in classrooms, reception, playground, garden, kitchen & dining hall, to help administrators in their work. Academically, Audio Visual rooms are set up to make the students understand the concept clearly.

ANSWERS Education can be acquired through Formal, Informal or Experiential method. Formal Education is one, which acquired with an accomplished trainer, who guides/leads the process of learning of the recipient. This is normally done by placing suitably organized information & evidence for the recipient, by debating & challenging any apprehensions or doubts, and through suitable demonstrations & controlled experiments. Certificates, Diploma & Degrees are conferred on the individual in the formal education system & are distinguishing feature of this system. Informal Education is acquired through contemplation, observation, curiosity & logical reasoning, experimentation, Real life experiences & Self study. Experiential education is acquired as apprenticeship in a profession or trade under a supervisor, in experience sharing sessions (formal or informal) at work place or trade/industry seminars, by going through manuals, communication & directives that are part & parcel of any work place or industry. Education is categorized as Primary, Secondary & Tertiary Education. Primary education is the one that is given up to 10-11 years of age under the formal education. Basic Language & Mathematics skills, elementary understanding of Natural Science & an impression of consciousness about the society around the child through knowledge of Social Science is imparted to the child during the Primary Education process. A childs logical thinking ability, communication skills, Value system, manners & curtsies, Arithmetic skills and ability to discern or critical thinking ability are sought to be nurtured as a result of the process of Primary Education. Secondary Education process leads to further development of the subjects taught in the primary education further is imparted till 17-18 years of age. Like the Language skills are nurtured to develop more sophisticated skills in Grammar & Comprehension along with verbal & written communication skills. The Mathematics skills include not only arithmetic but geometry, trigonometry, calculus, logarithms, concepts of accounting as well as some other relatively more sophisticated concept. Science is taught to develop critical thinking ability through systematic examination of natural phenomenon along with technological advancements of the society with knowledge of structure & composition of different states of matter, botany, zoology, physics and computer science among others. Social Science education dwells in geography, political science & awareness of Law, anthropology, economics with appreciation of various religion & belief systems, cultures & social phenomenon like casteism, racism etc. including history. The idea is to instill confidence in a child through realization of his inherent abilities, equip him to nurture his abilities and aptitude further, help him understand social, cultural, regulatory, political & legal systems of the society with social skills like organizing in teams or groups, leading such groups, dexterity, sportsman/competitive spirit & discipline, hygiene and sensitivity towards & appreciation of others As Ambe Vidyalaya Provides Pre Primary , Primary , Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in both Medium i.e. English and Gujarati Medium , The target Customers or the need for this Service is required by every child whose age is between 3 to 16 years for students of Vadodara and Vadodara District. E M.S. Hostel and is residential school which provides not only primary /secondary/high secondary education but also residential facilities for student residing outside Vadodara.

Opportunity for Vocational Training School Vocational education or vocational education and training (VET) prepares trainees for jobs that are based on manual or practical activities, traditionally nonacademic, and totally related to a specific trade, occupation, or vocation. It is sometimes referred to as technical education as the trainee directly develops expertise in a particular group of techniques or technology.

Vocational education may be classified as teaching procedural knowledge. This can be contrasted with declarative knowledge, as used in education in a usually broader scientific field, which might concentrate on theory and abstract conceptual knowledge, characteristic of tertiary education. Vocational education can be at the secondary or post-secondary level and can interact with the apprenticeship system. Increasingly, vocational education can be recognised in terms of recognition of prior learning and partial academic credit towards tertiary education (e.g., at a university) as credit; however, it is rarely considered in its own form to fall under the traditional definition of higher education. 3. Opportunity for Foreign Education collaboration

CBSE /ICSE Boards : The intial set up cost is very high , including the operating cost is very high as the trained teachers of CBSE /ICSE board quote double the remuneration as compared to GSEB board. The syllabus is non exhaustive and so will be efforts of the management. ii. Vocational Training School : A very innovative idea and practical too. In other states like Maharastra , vocational Training is given in the secondary and the higher secondary . where as in Gujarat the vocational training starts after entering the college life or Tertiary education. Financially also it is very viable. iii. Foreign Collaboration : the Financial part will again pose a problem as the collaboration with be in foreign currency. b. Competencies available and required i. Taking into consideration only the Vocational training Part ,te competencies required will be a management head who is aware of all the vocational syllabus planning . Can be easily acquired from the Polytechnic Colleges for Science Stream , even ITI is giving Vocational training but the learning part and syllabus is poorly designed with no practical knowledge training . our a Vocational traing School will not only design a intensive course structure but also stimulators training for every student which will enable him to use the knowledge practically . For Commerce Stream , we can design short term courses from well known private institutes like Tally , Sales Tax Knowledge , INCOME TAX etc

This type of vocational training will not only make them move from book worms to professionals but also will give them a job opportunity easily and faster. c. Amount of change required 5.
