to turn on tsm session tarce

1. open the sccs

2. double click on d:\nortel\iccm\bin\tsm_oam.exe file

3. then it will show

oam menu

1. go back to previous menu
2. query sessions
3. query acquires
4. query monitors
5. session trace on
6. session trace off
7. aml trace [off]
8. compucall trace [off]
9. access protocol trace [off]
10. access protocol debug trace [off]
11. access link trace [off]
12. ivr protocol trace [off]
13. ivr link trace [off]
14. tsm exec trace [off]
15. tsm server trace [off]
16. tsm api trace [off]
17. elh trace [off]
18. set log directory []
enter selection > 2
query sessions

select 2

5. from the list generated, find the component you wish to run a session trace and
note down the session id. for example

session id = 3, name = asm,


number of services = 1, service numbers = 99,
machine name = sl1, machine type = 1, customer number = 0
machine name = machine type = 64, customer number = 14173880

6. select 5 session trace on.

7. when promted enter the session id.

8. it will be promted for the trace file name (the default trace file name is
tsm003.trc where the session id is 3)
9. the default location of the trace file is d:\nortel\iccm\bin\data

10. select 6 for session trace off.
