Appecal is a natural appetite management product for general weight management and the prevention and treatment of obesity. Appecal controls appetite and hunger-pangs by promoting a pleasant feeling of satiety. This reduces compulsive food intake, which helps with weight loss. Appecal is made with Redusure, a specialised fibre complex that is water-soluble and has an extremely high swelling capacity.

The recommended dosage is based on a persons BMI profile. Take with a full glass of water (approximately 250ml) before each main meal Do not exceed nine (9) capsules daily Refer to product insert for more information
Note: In accordance with Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, a rest period of 3-5 days is recommended after every 30 days of consumption of this Class IIa Medical Device product.

Many clinical studies have been conducted to evaluate the effects of Amorphophallus konjac on weight loss, some of which are listed below.

Amorphophallus konjac is clinically proven in the dietary treatment of severe obesity Due to the marked ability to satiate patients and the positive metabolic effect, Amorphophallus konjac has been found to be particularly efficacious and well tolerated even in the long-term treatment of severe obesity.

Effects of Amorphophallus konjac is clinically researched on obese patients Results showed a significant mean weight loss of 2.5 kg over an eight-week period with a 1g dose (two 500mg capsules) of Amorphophallus konjac taken before each main meal with 240ml of water, three meals per day.

Effects of adding exercise to a diet containing Amorphophallus konjac After eight weeks, 3g of Amorphophallus konjac per day with exercise showed significant improvement in body composition with reductions in body mass, total fat mass, % body fat, BMI, abdominal % fat, abdominal fat mass and waist circumference.
