JOHN 6 v 37b Him that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out 1. HIM.

The People ; Those who have rejected the gift of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. The unrighteous, ungodly, unsaved. I TIMOTHY I v 15 ; This is a faithful saying and worthy of acceptation that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. Jesus Christ was crucified by those He came to save. He died for our sins but God raised Him up from the dead. Centuries before God was seeking to have His people worship Him instead of satan and man made gods. 2 CHRONICLES v4 ; If My people which are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. God is ever willing to offer the truly repentant sinner forgiveness, and blessing and watch over us through the guidance of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Pagan practices. In ROMANS chapter one we have a picture of the world that defies the commandments of God. Those who have no wish to turn from their sin and worship God. V21-24 ; Because that when they knew God they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful. but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God, into an image made like to corruptible man and to birds and four footed beasts. Wherefore God gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own heart to dishonour their own bodies between themselves. v32. Who knowing the judgement of God that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them. God was having trouble with the sinners of GENESIS 6 v 1-8. God destroyed the population with a great flood and saved only Noah and his family. Years later, God was again angry with the people who were committing grievous sins. He sent two angels to Lot and his family to take them out of the city of Sodom which God was going to destroy along with Gomorrha. Only Lot and his two daughters were saved. After a longer period of time, God sent Jesus as a baby born of a virgin, to show the people that God was a merciful God and would forgive the repentant sinners. The Jewish people crucified Jesus but God raised Him from the dead three days later. Thus Jesus opened the door of access to reconciliation with God for those who were desirous of entering in. So all the people had a choice, to accept Jesus as their Redeemer or to reject Him, with consequences following each decision. JOHN 5 v 28-29 ; Marvel not at this for the hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice and shall come forth, they that have done good unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation. ROMANS I v 8 ; For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of man who hold the truth in unrighteousness. THAT COMETH. Pre- Requisite JOHN 12 v 32 ; And I if I be lifted up will draw all men unto me. MATTHEW 11 v 28-30 ; Come unto Me all you that Labour and are heavy laden And I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly of heart, and you shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Today the call of Christ is sped around the world by radio, television and other means. ACTS 3 v 22 ; For Moses truly said to the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren like unto Me. Him shall you hear in all things whatsoever He shall say unto you. ACTS 2 v 21 ; And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. LUKE 5 v 32 ; I came not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. LUKE 7 v 14-16 ; And He came and touched the bier, and they that bore him stood still. And He said, Young man, I say unto you arise. And he that was dead sat up and began to speak. And He delivered him to his mother. And there came a fear on all and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up amongst us and that God has

visited His people. At first people flocked to Jesus who was healing the sick and raising some from the dead. He was sent by God but a multitude rejected Him and His salvation. But those who called on the name of Jesus committed their way of life to Him. ISAIAH 65 v 24 ; And it shall come to pass that before they call I will answer, and while they are yet speaking I will hear. So today the great invitation remains and people are being cleansed by Jesus of undesirable habits and sins that displease God. I CORINTHIANS 6 v 9-11 ; Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God, Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revellers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you, but you are washed, your are sanctified, you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. ISAIAH 55 v I ; Ho every one that thirsts, come to the waters, and he that has no money, come you buy and eat, Yes come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. V 3. Incline your ear and come unto Me. Hear and your soul shall live and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Come to the Saviour make no delay, Here in His word He has shown us the way Here in our midst He's standing today, Tenderly saying. come. TO ME. The Person. The Lord Jesus Christ. The coming of Jesus to this world was predicted hundreds of years before He was born in Israel. ISAIAH 9 v 6. For unto us a child in born, unto us a Son is given. And the government is upon His shoulder and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. His purpose in being sent from God. 1 TIMOTHY I v 15 ; This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am chief. MATTHEW I v 22-23 ; And He shall bring forth a Son and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins. Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophets Behold a virgin shall be with child and youshall call His name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. JOHN 1 v 29 ; The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. MATTHEW 2 v 16-17 ; And Jesus when He was baptised went up straightway out of the water, and lo, the heavens were opened to Him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him. And lo a voice from heaven saying, this is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. EZEKIEL 33 v 11 ; Say unto them, As long as I live, says the Lord God I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn you, turn you from your wicked ways for why will you die 0 house of Israel ? As all people were born in sin, a sacrifice, spotless and unblemished had to be offered to God for reconciliation to Him. Jesus Christ is the only sinless person who could meet the requirements of a sacrifice as a Redeemer for the people. Days later after Christ was raised from the dead, He was taken up to heaven as His work on earth was done. He gave full authority to His disciples to go forth and make disciples of the world. LUKE 24 v 51 ; And it came to pass, while He blessed them, He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. JOHN 20 v 30-31 ; And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and believing that you might have life through His name. ACTS 4 v 12 ; Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

MATTHEW 28 v 19-20 ; Go therefore and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you alway even to the end of the world. MARK 16 v 15-16 ; Go you into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptised shall be saved. But he that believes not shall be damned. JOHN 14 v 12 ; Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believes on Me the works that I do shall he do also. and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto My Father. JOHN 12 v 32 ; And I if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me. Thank you God for sending Jesus, thank you Jesus that you came. Holy Spirit come and help us, glorify the Saviour's name. I WILL. The Promise. Forgiveness of sins. Eternal life Sanctification. The word of God to guide us. Access to God in prayer and praise. TITUS I v 2 ; In hope of eternal life which God, that cannot lie promised before the world began. HEBREWS 6 v 18 ; That by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold on the hope set before us. We can rely on the promises of the Bible and be warned of the penalties of disobeying the commands of God. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. To believe in, commit oneself fully. Not mental agreement but an active belief that demands activity in the doctrine. JOHN 11 v 25-26 ; Jesus said to her. I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in Me though he were dead yet shall he live. and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Believe you this ? JOHN 10 v 2728 ; My sheep hear My voice and I know them and they follow Me. And I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. IN NO WAY CAST OUT. The Performance. Pardon . Praise.. Prayer and Peace. People have two choices, to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Redeemer or to serve satan. Each decision has a consequence that follows. So Christ's first part in His performance is to forgive the truly repentant sinner and reconcile the sinner with God. The new convert is encouraged to a full commitment to Jesus. JOHN 3 v 16-17 ; For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. I PETER I v 3-4 ; Blessed be the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. To an inheritance, incorruptible and undefiled, that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you. So to avoid being cast out into the lake of fire and brimstone the Christian must abide in Christ until he is called home. His name is written in the Lamb's book of life until he moves away from God and becomes a backslider and will not return to God. REVELATION 2 v 11 ; He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death. V 25. But that which you have already, hold fast till I come. So we are urged to abide in Christ and not to move out of His influence. Pardon. Mark 3 v 28-29 ;

Verily I say unto you. all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme. But He that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation. PSALM 32 v 1-2 ; Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity and in whose Spirit there is no guile. ACTS 13 v 38 ; Be it known unto you therefore men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins. Then of course comes peace. He is our peace. Ephesians 2 v 14. ISAIAH 26 v 3 ; Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. JOHN 14 v 27 ; Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid. Then the praise for God's goodness and mercy and love for us. PSALM 145 v 1-3. I will extol You 0 God my King. and I will bless Your name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless You, and I will praise Your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised and His greatness is unsearchable. PSALM 139 v 23-24 ; Search me 0 God and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts, and see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. MATTHEW 22 v 36-37 ; Master, which is the great commandment in the law ? Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. REVELATION I v 3 ; Blessed is he that reads and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein for the time is at hand. So long as man believes and fully trusts in God and the Lord Jesus Christ and follows their teachings then he has the hope and assurance of eternal life with Jesus. JOHN 14 v 23 ; Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love Me he will keep My words and My Father will love him. And we will come to him and make our abode with him. But God also has other promises for those who do not follow Jesus or reject Him altogether. REVELATION 3 v 15-17 ; I know your works that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot. So then because you are neither cold nor hot I will spue you out of My mouth . Because you say I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing and know you not that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. This letter went to a Christian church and God was not satisfied with the sincerity of their worship. He was going to blot out their names from the Lamb's book of life. These people were saved and were falling away from the teachings of Scripture. Jesus said that as long as we abide in Him and fully trust in Him then we are assured of that eternal life with Him. JOHN 15 v 6 ; If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch and s withered And men gaather them ad they are cast into the fire and they are burned. REVELATION3 v 5 ; He that overcomes the same shall be clothed in white raiment and I will not blot his name our of the book of life. MATTHEW 10v 22 ; He that endues to the end shall be saved. God's promise of eternal life is conditional to our being faithful and true to Jesus to the end of our life on earth, while waiting for the rapture. JOHN 8 v 31 ; If you continue in My word then are you My disciples indeed. REVELATION 20 v 12-15 ; And I saw the dead, small and great stand before God and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The Scriptures urge us to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and to worship God, walk in the light of His Word and remain loyal, devoted followers of His. Him that comes to Me I will in no way cast out. Coming to Jesus means that we commit our lives to His care and blessings. God was angry with those people who having done this became lethargic and were neither cold nor hot in their relationships with God. He will cast those who turn their backs on Him, into the lake of fire and brimstone. HEBREWS 6 v 4-6 ; For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost. And have tasted the good of God, and the powers of the world to come. If they shall fall away to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh and put Him to an open shame. JOHN 17 v 12 ; While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those that You gave Me I have kept, and none of them is lost but the son of perdition, that Scripture might be fulfilled. There is no doubt that Judas was a saved man, for he was sent out by Jesus as an apostle to preach the gospel, heal the sick and bring converts into the family of God. He lost his salvation by betraying Jesus. The high priest Aaron sinned against God when Moses was up in the mountain. God took Aaron's name out of the book of life but when Moses interceded for him, God put his name back in the book. Exodus 33 v 32-33 Adam and Eve had a right relationship with God but after they had sinned they were cast out of the garden of Eden and out of the presence of God. King Saul I Samuel 10 v 24 ; And Samuel said to all the people, see him whom the Lord has chosen that there is none like him among the people. And all the people shouted, God save the king. I CHRONICLES 10 v 13 ; So Saul died for his aggressions which the word of the Lord which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it. So Saul would have had his name taken out of the book of life. There are several references where the righteous have sinned against God in various ways and have lost their salvation. So we need to remember that coming to Jesus is a very serious thing and a covenant between us and Him that should not be broken.
