Personal Profile:

Annabel is a third year history student who has all the great traits of a good employee. She is a hardworking, driven individual which can be reflected from her GCSEs all the way to her current degree program. Annabel is a very active and enthusiastic worker. She has worked and visited many countries doing a range of jobs, developing her social skills and ability to interact with anyone. Studying history at degree level provides her with a good understanding of the economy (with the aid of my political economy module) and the world in which we live in today. She is able to successfully analyse data, and select the key points of understanding. It has allowed to be a more concise and shrewd person. As well as the vast range of work experience, she has maintained to keep jobs in the background of her educational career to earn money. Not only in her work experiences but also in her jobs, Annabel has always demonstrated a great level of team work and desire to succeed. She is not afraid to take on a new challenge, as it would always provide her with a new experience and a new genre of thought. In her spare time, Annabel takes part in team sports such as, football, basketball, and kick boxing in addition badminton, all of which requires me to be an energetic, motivated and a competitive team player. Work Experience: Oct 2010 - Feb 2011 LIMUN London International Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) asks young people to take on the role of world leaders. Taking on the role of an ambassador to the UN, participants experience the complexities of international policy formation at first hand. Each delegate represents the viewpoint of a single Member State of the United Nations or non-governmental organisation (NGO), researching that country's or NGO's policy and advocating these views to other delegates. I, individually, was given the responsibility of representing for Algeria. Teaching me how to articulate my opinion and understand how complicated world issues can be.

At this law firm my work ranged from the normal administrative measures, to the more technical side where I looked at contracts and sat in meeting with clients. I was made to look up laws in the environmental department and additionally look at big scale planning permission contracts. I worked at this IT support and finance firm in Dubai. My work allowed for me to prepare the applications and other types of documentations. Additionally I familiarised myself with the GlobalEye Portfolio Service. My work allowed me to interact with clients, and helping the managing of office infrastructure. While I was there I managed a number of skills some which involved call logging, SLA management, 1st and 2nd line troubleshooting and diagnosis of a variety of technologies. I worked in a shop where I supported full time workers and helped the elder customers to ensure they could find what they were looking for. It allowed me to gain a greater appreciation for my opportunities and a greater patience when dealing with people. This involved me working in a team of 5 where I led my team over a 5 day expedition to a destination. I learned a number of skills and was given a huge amount of responsibility. I learned skills such as first aid, map reading and the understanding of the right factors of a safe living area every night. This was very important as I delegated and organised my team.
