I am Vipin Pachori, student of IMT University 3 years Programme of PGPM with Dual specialization in Marketing & Information Technology and I am running my part time small business of sale-purchase of old and new Mobile handsets in Delhi (NCR) region .My scope of study primarily based on Play Mobile handsets which Launched in June 2010 owned company is Super Cassettes Industries Ltd.
I have selected my project Title BRAND PREFERENCE AMONG NEW ERA OF SMART PHONES OF MOBILE PHONES INDUSTRY.
Purpose of choosing the project in mobile handsets industry to understand the Mobile handsets market growth with comparison of actual requirement of customers.
India has reached the coveted position of the second largest mobile handset market In the world after China. And it is expected to become even bigger with 208.4 million phones being shipped by 2016 at a CAGR of 11.4% between the period of 2010 2016.

Methodology
Descriptive research methodology has been used for the project. The research uses both Qualitative & Quantitative approach with open & close ended questions. RESEARCH DESIGN: Visited the customers across Delhi-NCR & gathered information required as per the questionnaire. The research design is probability research design and is descriptive research. DATA COLLECTION: Primary data has been used by me in the form of Questionnaire & Observation and One to One Interview, which are the two basic methods of collecting primary data, which Suffices all research objectives.
Secondary data sources like catalogue of the company, product range book of the Company & various internet sites such as infibeam.com, mobiledekho.com, fonearena.com, gadgetsguru.in, themobilestore.in & google.com have been used.
Sample Plan
A sample size would be around of 45-50 one to one interviews and 75-125 survey would Initially aimed to be taken from Delhi and NCR region. The sample size would supposed to be divided in 4 different groups as given bellow:
Sample Size 150 respondents Sample Unit- Mobile handsets users, retailers, distribution, office employees and college student . Sampling Area Delhi (NCR). Sampling Technique - Random Sampling technique
FIRST GROUP -One to one interview with competitors distributors & retailers. No. of Distributor = 10 and No. of Retailers = 20 SECOND GROUP -One to one interview with each 5 students in 5 colleges of Delhi (NCR). THIRD GROUP- Conduct the survey within 5 MNC of Delhi NCR. No of Questionnaire would be fill = 10 from each company FOURTH GROUP- Conduct the survey in Super market of mobile handsets
