Valedictorian Speech

Dear Students of the Graduating Class of Carmencita, thank you for thisopportunity to speak to you as a whole. These days have passed by much too quickly, its almost impossible to believe that well be in high school the next timewe step into a classroom. Before I begin, Id like to thank all the parents and guardians for putting up with me tonight; without the support of our families, none of us would have come this far. To our parents and for some who only have their guardians who stand as their parents, we are endowed having you in our lives. We appreciate your sacrifices just to bring us in school. When we the first time we came to this school, we were skeptical. All of us had been pulled out of our comfort zones and pushed into a completely new environment, with new rules, new teachers, and new peers. Some of us realized right away that things would be different and tried to adapt to these new surroundings, while others clung to their old values and stubbornly refused to let go. In time, we progressed as individuals to form a unified community. Dear classmates, this year, our graduation is The graduate: A partner Towards Transpormational Society, An Answer to Societal Change, this theme implies that we, the graduates can do many things to change our society. As you know, our country is experiencing crisis. Perhaps it is time for us to realize that the future depends on us. The lives of the next generation lies on our hands. However, for tonight, it doesnt matter whether you accepted everyone with beaming openness or rejected them with a sarcastic brush-off; for tonight,we are here to graduate as a united whole.
