Programming Language Used

The primary programming language used was Visual Basic 6.0 with MySqL to

design and implement the database.

To understand well the flow of the system, with emphasis on the input and output,

as well as the process that happened within the organization, Logical, Physical and

Context Diagram were used for the existing and proposed system. Gantt Chart and Pert

Diagram were used for the scheduling of activities to organize the flow of activities. Data

dictionary are included to identify the fields and types of variables to be used by the

database.

Hardware Specification

CNSC Computerized Faculty Loading System utilizes one computer for the

system setup.

The hardware specifications are at least 1.2 Gigahertz Pentium 4 Processor speed,

Windows XP Professional Operating System, and at least 256 Megabyte of available

RAM or higher. The system requires a monitor with 800 x 600 Screen Resolution to

project an effective visual appearance. A keyboard and mouse are necessary as input

devices. The Hard disk memory or data storage must be at least 40 Gigabyte. It is

necessary to hold large size of data.

. Printer (Laser Jet Printer) is necessary for printing reports and documents that

will be processed by the system.

Design Process

Design process included the diagrams for existing and proposed system. The

Entity- Relationship Diagram (Existing System), Context Diagram, DFD with the logical,

physical and child data flow diagram for the existing and proposed system are also

included.
