VTP ou VLAN Trunking Protocol est un protocole de niveau 2 utilisé pour configurer et
administrer les VLAN sur les Commutateurs Cisco. Son objectif est de faciliter la création des
Vlans sur les commutateurs.
Il y 3 modes de fonctionnement du VTP :
1) Configuration VTP :
Pour S1 : Server
On crée les VLANs sur le switch server
#conf t
S1(config)#vlan 10
S1(config-vlan)#name TDI
S1(config-vlan)#vlan 20
S1(config-vlan)#name TRI
S1(config-vlan)#vlan 30
S1(config-vlan)#name TMSIR
S1(config-vlan)#exit
S2(config)#vtp version 2
S2(config)#vtp mode transparent
S2(config)#vtp domain ofppt
S2(config)#vtp password 123
Pour S3 et S4 : TP Client
#conf t
S4(config)#vtp version 2
S4(config)#vtp mode client
S4(config)#vtp domain ofppt
S4(config)#vtp password 123
VTP Version : 2
Configuration Revision : 0
Maximum VLANs supported locally : 255
Number of existing VLANs : 8
VTP Operating Mode : Server
VTP Domain Name : ofppt
VTP Pruning Mode : Disabled
VTP V2 Mode : Disabled
VTP Traps Generation : Disabled
