Marlon Familton LMHC, Announces the Launch of His New Website BetterMentalHealth.

net, Focused on the Treatment of Anxiety, Depression, PTSD and Trauma

Bellevue, WA, October 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Marlon Familton Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Bellevue Washington, announces the launch of a new website BetterMentalHealth.net, focused on the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma. Millions of people suffer from some form of mental illness. Typically people will turn to family, their doctor, medication, counseling, self help books and internet research. Counseling often provides more active and specific treatment options custom tailored for the client. Since 2008 Marlon Familton has been a counselor in Bellevue focusing on building a successful private practice by providing marriage and couples counseling. During that time he has also been working at Navos Mental Health as a psychotherapist working with individuals suffering from symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, panic attacks, bipolar, schizophrenia and psychotic disorder. Since leaving Navos in October 2011, I have been looking forward to opening my practice to clients battling anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma. With the launch of my new website BetterMentalHealth.net, I can begin this next step. Familton says. The message I want people to hear from BetterMentalHealth.net is that they can get better. Many people deal with anxiety and depression and they can get better. Mental health and mental illness are terms that conjure up stigma. The truth is that we are not our brain. Our brain is another organ in our body like a heart or lung. Mixed with the complexity of memories and emotions, things can get off track, Familton says. My counseling is about meeting a client where they are in their journey, processing what is causing pain and clearing out the toxic emotion so they can find happiness. Marlon Familton, LMHC is trained in Lifespan Integration Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He is a partner at Collaborative Couples & Family Counseling in Bellevue Washington sharing the practice with his wife, Leah Koenig LMHCA, Parent Coach and Child Therapist. He can be reached at 425-417-4700 or through his new site at www.bettermentalhealth.net. He still operates www.securelove.net. Leah Koenig can be reached through her site at www.myparentcoach.net. ###
