POVERTY "Beyond what we see, homeless people searching, sick children suffering, beggars wandering, scared and hungry,

lost and lonely. People are starving depr ived of the common neccessities in life, just the thought of it hurts. And now, that we have opened our eyes to this reality, it is hard to look on the other wa y and tell ourselves that everything is okay. No, not everything is okay. It is not okay to see people living this way, it is not okay to see young children on streets having to earn a living for their families, it is not okay to see people deprived of even the common neccessities in life--food, clothing, and shelter." This is one paragraph i'd like to say aloud, this thought made me feel n othing because i cant do anything about this problem. Lets make an analysis how poverty grown up, and how could we prevent poverty as a world problem. With our rising rates of unemployment and homelessness and lack of educa tion, a number of countries are diving into poverty. Poverty is the condition of having an insufficient amount of resources or income. Poverty has many causes; some of them are very basic. The primary factors that may lead to poverty are ov erpopulation, the unequal distribution in world economy, inability to meet high standards of living or high cost of living, inadequate employment and education opportunities, environmental degradation, certain economic and demographic trend s and welfare incentives.Another factor that support this fact is that education in every country is not free. So, those who does not even have a shelter, who a re facing famine, how will they be able to afford paying for education? Educatio n may also be the last preoccupation and such type of people does not value educ ation mostly. Then we also have poor people but those who are a little better t han those whom I have mentioned above. I am now referring to those who does have a shelter and who are not facing famine but yet, who are not educated and who s pends most of their time at work. These type of people do strive hard to send th eir kids to school but, they do it only for the sake of doing it or only because others do it. Furthermore, poverty also leads to violence in the society an even in ho mes. Poverty is very often the cause of high rates of divorce, family failures a nd also prostitution. Nowadays we people are forced to live a highly materialist ic life and those who are unable to cope with that situation are even ready to k ill, to attain their objectives. Countries are inter-dependent to each other, globalization is the one c ause this poverty. Because of selfishness, people whose suffering from poverty c ant do anything because they think that higher people has the power and they wer e too weak to fight for their rights. Thats why there are some association that helping them but it is not enough because those association are also suffering from poverty. Poverty is the worlds biggest problem, how can we prevent? its so hard to prevent but we can do prevent this when we have equalities.
