This new page will be set- up a lot like the Gamestar Mechanic page with an INTRODUCTION section followed by a RESEARCHING AND ANALYZING section and the rest of the stages of the Design Cycle. Read through the information about Game Design on the Secondary School website (link is above). Watch the videos on the Game Design Page (same link as above). Go to http://www.sploder.com/ and create an account. Play a few games in 6SORGHU to get a feel for what sorts of games can be made with it. Try to make your own, very simple game with it. Begin writing a review of 6SORGHU as a game-building tool. This will go in the RESEARCHING AND ANALYZING section of your project page. You wiII do the same thing (play some games, create a simple game, and write a review) with SPLODER and 2 of the foIIowing: GAME SALAD, ATMOSPHIR or ROBLOX. After that, you wiII find one of your own Game Creation websites/programs to write a review for. Then, you wiII do this same activity with a website/program that was recommended by one of your peers. You shouId have 5 in totaI when you are compIete with this stage. Let's try to get this Stage (Researching and AnaIyzing) finished by the end of the month.
