EDUCATION
University of South Florida expected graduation 2015 Seeking a Doctorate in the Geological Sciences Adviser, Dr. Charles Connor, Professor Eastern Michigan University graduated April, 2010 Bachelor of Science degree, Major: Professional Geology Cumulative GPA: 3.5 (4.0 scale) Undergraduate thesis: Assessment of Cation Ordering in Nb-Ta Oxides using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy Adviser, Dr. Christine Clark, Associate Professor

GEOSCIENCE RESEARCH
Syria Planum, a volcanic plateau on Mars September, 2009 to Present Cataloged over 200 volcanic vents on Syria Planum as part of a larger eort to catalog all volcanic vents in Tharsis Province, Mars. Performed crater age-dating, nearest neighbor, and two-point azimuthal analysis on these volcanic units in order to expand the known geologic history of Syria. Assessment of cation disorder within columbite-group minerals August, 2008 to present Studied characteristics of columbite-group oxide minerals using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy with the goal of describing cation disorder through quantitative analysis of infrared spectra. Cation disorder aects the infrared spectra of columbite-tantalite due to the dierent quantities of bond types in the crystal lattice.

GEOSCIENCE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Contracting Geophysicist September, 2010 to May, 2011 Stinger Ghaarian Technologies, Inc. / NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Rened spatial analysis tecniques to quantify spatial distribution of volcanism on Syria Planum, Mars. Undergraduate Research Intern September to December, 2009 Planetary Geosciences Group, Code 698, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Cataloged volcanic vents in Tharsis Province, Mars. Identied a 200 km long volcanic ridge that represents the youngest volcanism on Syria Planum.
