EMOR Programme for Increased Oil production

It is estimated that once a well ceases to produce oil, (or ceases to be financially viable to operate) there is between 50 and 85 % of the wells total oil remaining in place. Common recovery techniques are expensive and fail to access the majority of the oil that remains in place.

What is EMOR EMOR is a revolutionary tertiary oil recovery program, engineered to provide fast and comprehensive results on underperforming well sites or wells that have ceased to be financially viable. EMOR stands for Enhanced Microbiological Oil Recover and is a tertiary recovery technique. Enhanced Microbiological Oil Recovery (EMOR) is the introduction or cultivation of bacteria in an oil reservoir in order to increase the amount of recoverable oil. The EMOR programme aims to increase a number of key factors in the production cycle, that in turn, significantly affects the profitability of the well. The EMOR programme: Increases day to day oil yield Reduces the water cut- leaving a more attractive product for refining Extends the life of a well by allowing extraction of previously unobtainable oil Reduces down time and equipment failure

Trial data Each trial was carried out over a twelve week period. All the data was gathered by highly trained oil field technicians employed by the oil companies, not by Chemiphase. Each oil well showed a significant and sustained increased daily oil yield. The EMOR programme showed; Trial 1 The first trial was subject to intermitten production times, with significant well down time. We used the data supplied to us in order that we could gain useable information. This involved calculating a production value per hour and using this to achieve a figure that we believe would have been achieved had the well been operating at 100% capacity. This trial, as evident in the first attached graph, shows a significant increase in oil production in a narrow time frame. As the trial came to an end, the oil produced returned to the pre application levels. Increase in day to day oil yield of between 21% and 24% Increase in oil to water ratio of 1.7

The third graph demonstrates that an increase in water produced is evident with the EMOR programme. This increase is not at the same level (5.5% water increase compared to a 24% oil increase) meaning that the overall water cut percentage is reduced. We used this information to make alterations to the second trial batch, in order that we could achieve a sustained increase in production. Trial 2 The second trial, as evident in the second attached graph, also shows an increase in produced oil. The figures used are the actual, unaltered production figures. The EMOR formulation was altered in order for the produced oil to undertake a sustainable level of increased production. The graph shows how the oil produced increases at a more gradual rate, however once this increase is maximised there is no sudden return to pre application levels. We believe this second trial demonstrates that a sustained application will deliver a sustainable increase in oil produced per day. As shown with the first trial and evident in graph four, the water produced does in fact increase, but when compared to the increase in oil ( 3.9% increase in water compared with 21% increase in oil) the water cut percentage again decreases. As can be seen in both trials and in the attached graphs, the oil yield noticeably increases over the lifespan of the EMOR application. It is our belief that with sustained application, the increase in oil will be at a level in excess of a 30% increase. Moving forward We have satisfied the claims that the EMOR increases oil yield and thus profitability. We are currently in negotiations to begin work on wells that have ceased to be functional, in order to prove that the EMOR process can be successfully employed on wells that have ceased to produce oil.
