CHAPTER 1 THE PROBLEM INTRODUCTION In every places we go like banks, malls, restaurants, stores, shop, schools and many more, we can noticed or see a cashier or money transactions. These are where the people responsible and concerned fixing and handling transaction in terms of financial. In the years passed, we all know how important money was, not only for the economy and businessman but for all of us human, as well. And it is the reason that led us to the discovery of Accounting. The importance of Accounting has been used even in the primitive times. The word Accountant is derived from the French word Computer, which tool its origin from the Latin word Computare. Accountancy is the art of communicating financial information about a business entity to users such as shareholders and managers. The communication is generally in the form of financial statements that show in money terms the economic resources under the control of management. It is the branch of mathematical science that is useful in discovering the causes of success and failure in the business. Accounting has been called the language of business. It has big contributions in everything we do. Its concepts and terms are used to measure the events of daily business activity. Unfortunately, studying and learning more ore advanced accounting is a big help for student, especially for the seniors students whos still undecided in

choosing the right course for college. For a fact, that even there are many students graduated with a such a course, some of them cant find an available job that suits their career. But for Accounting, it opens many career opportunities for accountants. For the senior students, studying the Basic Accounting is a big influence when we enter a new world, and that is college. It is a preparation and at same time, a possible career to take up. And also in these case, our knowledge about accounting wild be wide and easier for us. It is the reason why, we chose the topic in the views of students in the Teaching of Advanced Accounting as Preparatory Course for College.

The problem that was examined in this research was to develop and test a the opinion of randomly selected senior students in their perception in the teaching of Advance Accounting as a preparatory course for college.

It is the career for men and women who at the start have their eyes set on top positions in industry, management, government, and general business. Accounting is a basic need of every businessman, from the operator of a filling station to the government of the United States. Its so important to our society. None of the business organization can operate without is. They are there-somewhere-in every business. In the small business, people use pen, ink and skill keep the records. In large business, modern accounting machines are used to operate. Men and women are directing these machines in the accounting process. Wise businessmen enter business must have some accounting knowledge.
