The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust

Stephen Lawrence dreamed of becoming an architect, Stephen's dreams were cut short by his murder in 1993. Today, Stephens dreams are inspiring other young people in our inner cities, across the UK and internationally. The Trust is helping make Stephen's dreams a reality for others by opening up pathways out of poverty and into viable careers in Architecture, Urban Design and Regeneration.

The Stephen Lawrence Centre, by David Adjaye is designed to excite and inspire its ence visitors and create an engaging learning environment. For clients, the building, history environment. and facilities are unique in London and within easy reach of the City. Out of the congestion zone and with ample parking nearby, the Centre is conveniently and located in Zone 2 just ten minutes from London Bridge via Overground at New Cross or St Johns mainline stations. Deptford Cross DLR runs past the Building and is within easy reach of the City. spec Brand new AV and hi-spec IT suites, creative labs, meeting rooms and common areas are available for hire at competitive rates. The cent boasts 24hr security and a receptionist centre during office hours. Each unit features 22 monitors 1 Creative Arts Laboratory; capacity for 40 and wet room facility for model m making/ 3D design, casting etc 1 state of the art AV suite with green screen facility, 2 high specification digital cameras and control room (audio and visual) 2 Lecture/Conference Rooms (capacity of 35 people each). Each room has an interactive whiteboard with a data projector and a 42 plasma screen. These rooms ard can be joined by moving a soundproof sliding wall to create a room with a capacity of 70 people. A Media Room with five PC and 5 Macs and data projector 2 Business Support R Rooms, one with 4 iMAcs and one with 4 PCs, for hot desking Board Room. 4 Ports. The Stephen Lawrence Centre: Food

We can provide tea/coffee and biscuits but do not have full catering facilities. We can recommend a number of reasonably priced local suppliers who can provide breakfast, lunch and evening catering. Or you can use your own catering suppliers. Please discuss your requirement with our Centre Manager.
